Happy Thanksgiving friends!

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
- Mark 10:45

I am thanking God today for his many blessings.
Most profoundly for the gift of eternal life through the death and resurrection of King Jesus 🙏 by @standsecure

I’m excited to be headed west for the Women’s Retreat hosted by the incredible @jaclyn.weidner

I’ll be leading sessions on “Hearing God’s Voice” and “Life Reboot: Reset, Refocus & Renew.” (My Coaching heart is especially excited about this one!)

As I’ve been preparing, I’ve been reminded of how important it is to create space and margin to connect with Jesus. Our world is noisy. God’s voice is often subtle. I’m asking the Lord to increase my awareness of his voice and presence! I pray he would do the same for you in this season 🙏

I’ll also be learning from so many incredible women from across Canada! 🇨🇦 So grateful for the enormous army of believers linking arms in our Nation in so many ways.

Can you see it? He’s doing a new thing 💛

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” - Isaiah 43:19 by @standsecure

Peace is a person †

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - John 14:27 NIV by @standsecure

We finished a 10km this morning! As I ran, I passed several benches - and as I noticed each one I heard God whisper, “I’ll be here when you’re done… come rest.”

He is in the running - the energy of our dreams, goals and actions that reflect God’s light and love in our world. And, he’s in the resting and renewal we all need when we’ve been running for a while.

He’s in it all.

As I ran today, I was thanking Jesus for the gift of movement, the beauty of this city in September 🍂
and the community that came together to support #heartbeatrun2026 ❤️ by @standsecure

Free spirit 🤍

This is my sweet nephew sprinting with the birds. This kid has no inhibitions. As I watched him run with his eye on the sky, I was struck by his childlike freedom and joy. I felt God inviting me to look up, to see the one who frees me too.

“Where the spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.” - 2 Cor 2:17 ✞

“Who the Son sets free
Is free indeed.” - John 8:36 ✞

“Restore to me
the joy of your salvation.” - Psalm 51:12 ✞

May your joy be renewed as you rest in your freedom today. Jesus paid it all. The Gospel is true. It is finished. We can rest in this reality 🤍 by @standsecure
