Mobile! Thank you so much to everyone that came out to the ‘We Stand Up’ event this past Thursday despite its rescheduling. It was a beautiful night! Thank you especially to Yewhe Yeton and his entire team for traveling so far to help us make this possible! 🎤🪘✊

In collaboration with the Mobile Alabama Africatown Drummers, we shared a night of incredible music, diverse cultures, and highlighted voter mobilization.

This event helped connect the stories of Benin and Africatown while inspiring community dialogue surrounding civic engagement ahead of the upcoming election. A HUGE thank you to Kazoola for allowing us to utilize their space for this incredible evening. 🫶
