For more than 180 years, St Mary’s has changed lives through world-leading care, research, innovation and discovery.

We’ve now launched the next phase of consultation on our plans for the new St Mary’s and wider masterplan. Building on feedback from previous phases, the proposals include:

🏥 Single, en-suite rooms for patients
🍃 A sky lobby with a sky garden, café and spaces for staff, patients and visitors to rest and reflect
🔬 Research facilities integrated with patient care to help bring new treatments and diagnostics into practice faster
🚑 Clear arrival and drop-off points for planned, urgent and emergency care

Our CEO, David Camp, joined Monocle’s The Urbanist podcast last week, alongside architect Eric Parry, to talk about One London, our new development in the City of London.

The episode looks at the project from both sides: the architect’s eye and the developer’s view, and what it takes to get a tall building right in a part of the City that’s seen centuries of change already.

🏌 A brilliant day at @foxhillssurrey for the fifth annual Stanhope Foundation Golf Day, generously sponsored by Phoenix ME, @keltbraygroup, @arupgroup, @turnerandtownsendalinea and GBE Group.

After last year’s rain, we were very grateful for some kinder weather - and for such a fantastic turnout. It was great to see so many people getting involved, including a few new golfers who may well be back on the course soon after the “learn to love golf” sessions!

Most importantly, the day raised an incredible £54,000 for the Stanhope Foundation. The funds will be distributed to our charity partners @stmungos, @maggiescentres, @mencap, @constructionyouthtrust and @mayorsfundforlondon to support their employment programmes and help create opportunities for the people they work with.

A big thank you to Mitsui Fudosan UK for generously contributing some of the prizes, and to everyone who took part, supported the day and helped make it such a success.

Stanhope’s 2025–26 ESG Annual Report is now published.

ESG is a long-term commitment, and this year’s report reflects the steady progress being made across our projects, portfolio and partnerships. Our highlights include:

➡️ 46% reduction in carbon intensity against our 2020 baseline with a 5% year-on-year improvement
➡️ Managed portfolio operational carbon intensity is 52% below baseline, tracking ahead of our 50% 2030 target
➡️ 95% renewable electricity procurement, with 100% renewables procured within Stanhope’s control
➡️ 100% diversion from landfill across construction and operations
➡️ Delivery of meaningful social value through local jobs, apprenticeships, volunteering and education programmes
➡️ £500,000 raised this year by the Stanhope Foundation, taking total funds raised to £2.7 million to date

These results come from the commitment across our teams and the partners we work with. Thank you to everyone who has contributed.

We’re pleased to share that @fora_space has signed for 46,332 sq. ft. at 76 Southbank, bringing its premium flexible workspace offer to this landmark London building.

Designed for small and scalable businesses, Fora’s space will place wellness at its heart, with amenities including a gym, Pilates studio, treatment room, lounge, café and community-focused event spaces for members and the wider occupier community. Joining @lego and @paypal, Fora’s arrival marks another major milestone for 76 Southbank as one of London’s most compelling new workplace destinations.

8 Bishopsgate is now fully let!

We’re pleased to share that King & Spalding has signed the final available floor at 8 Bishopsgate, taking its footprint in the building to almost 60,000 sq ft across seven floors.

This is a major milestone for the 550,000 sq ft tower and a strong endorsement of the demand for best-in-class, sustainable workspace in the City.

As the first London tower to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and with an EPC A rating, 8 Bishopsgate continues to set a new benchmark for workplace quality and performance.

🌟 Stanhope PLC is proud to support Building Hope, Spring Gala Dinner in aid of @maggiescentres at @stpaulscathedrallondon on 21st May, alongside fellow sponsors @wearemcalpine,Clipfine Ltd, Ruddy Joinery and @williamharegroup.

It’s great to see the built environment get together to help Maggie’s Centres provide free practical, emotional and psychological support to people with cancer and their loved ones.

Every penny raised on the night is going directly towards keeping Maggie’s doors open and its services free for all.

🙏 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Stanhope Foundation breakfast this morning!

It was a pleasure to welcome our Foundation partners and charities to 8 Bishopsgate and create space to connect, share ideas and celebrate impact.

Thank you to Sabine Ceotto (The Mayor's Fund for London), Amanda Berry (Construction Youth Trust) and Fran Findlater OBE (No Going Back) for speaking about their organisations and the difference the Foundation’s support has made this year, both through funding and volunteering opportunities.

This year also marks five years of the Stanhope Foundation. With the backing of our partners, we’ve raised £2.7m to date – including £500,000 this year alone. That support is helping to further the employment goals of so many people, including those returning to work after a cancer diagnosis, young, disadvantaged Londoners taking their first steps into the workplace, people rebuilding their lives after a conviction, and those working to overcome homelessness.

We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity of our partners, both in funding and time, and for the dedication of the charities we’re supporting. We’re excited to work alongside our charity and industry partners to see what we can achieve in the next five years.

76 Southbank takes home another award! This time at the @bco_uk London Awards, winning the award for Best Refurbished / Recycled Workplace.
