Architecture and interior design are about more than space alone; they also depend on a building’s relationship with its surroundings. When I was asked to photograph the newly refurbished Warwick Court in London, I aimed to capture that connection by framing each view through the design of the interior. London’s skyline is one of the most recognisable in the world. Offices that overlook landmarks such as St Paul’s Cathedral, the Thames, or the evolving City cluster — offer more than visual pleasure. They shape how people feel at work. From attracting top talent to shaping brand identity, the address and the views from a workspace can influence everything from productivity to long term business growth. It was important to feature the buildings unique position next to St Pauls Cathedral and views of the city in the final set of photographs. High floor offices in developments like Warwick Court offer expansive views that become part of the daily rhythm of work. They combine architectural excellence with curated views, terraces, biophilic design, and neighbourhood vibrancy. This creates an environment where people feel connected to the city’s energy without being overwhelmed by it. When photographing Warwick Court, the camera height was an important consideration to frame key elements of the view within the design of the space. Office locations and views influence how people feel, how clients perceive a business, and how a brand positions itself in one of the world’s most competitive cities. As companies rethink the purpose of the workplace, choosing the right location and securing inspiring views has become one of the most powerful ways to create environments where people want to be, work, and succeed. #photography #photographer #interiordesign #architecture #architect #theview #skyline #frame #terraces #biophilia #environment #city #energy #inspiring #creative #interiorphotographer #architecturephotographer

20th of June 2026, Somers Town: Over 30 activities. 9 venues. One neighbourhood. One question: what does it mean to live well in a warming city? 🌞 With the recent heatwave affecting all of us in many different ways, the question hasn’t been more relevant. “Somewhere the Sun is Always Shining!” brought together residents, researchers, artists and community organisations for a free, family friendly all-day event as part of @ldnclimateweek through the @meltingmetropolis project. What it showed us is this: climate action and education doesn’t just take place in conference halls, but in trusted spaces where connections are nurtured. Hair braiding rooted in cultural cooling traditions. Cyanotype prints made from archive images. Cooling drinks from the Horn of Africa. A collective textile tapestry stitched street by street. Live poetry. African drumming. Conversations with UCL researchers and Camden Council about housing, heat and what a genuinely cooler, fairer London could look like. None of it would have happened without the relationships between ourselves, @ASpaceForUs, @SceneAndHeardUK, @WellcomeTrust, @CamdenCouncil, @UniofLiverpool, the @britishlibrary, and @lendlease who pulled in other partnerships with other organisations and individuals to make the day possible, and a success. Climate action is often framed as a problem of technology, policy or finance. Rarely is it framed as an interaction of relationships. But what Somers Town showed on 20 June is that relationships are the infrastructure: the thing that makes everything else possible. Many thanks to all who supported the event, including @thegreenlondoner_ and @chocolatefilms who documented the day. #UrbanHeat #MeltingMetropolis #LondonClimateActionWeek #ClimateJustice #CommunityAction

One London, formerly known as 1 Undershaft, is Eric Parry Architects’ proposed tower for the Eastern City Cluster in the City of London. The project is designed to deliver about 154,000 square metres of high-quality commercial space, alongside a major upgrade to the public realm and a series of publicly accessible areas within the building. The scheme is notable for its civic and cultural ambitions as much as its scale. At 309.6 metres above ordnance datum, it is planned to match The Shard as the joint-tallest building in Western Europe, and it will include Europe’s highest publicly accessible viewing gallery plus an education space curated by the London Museum. The design also emphasises sustainability, renewable energy, material reuse, water reuse, and layered urban greening intended to significantly boost biodiversity. #onelondon #architecture #architecturenews #londonarchitecture #London Are you excited to see this building?

This month, we’re looking back at 8 Finsbury Circus, now 10 years old. Adjacent to the listed Britannic House by Edwin Lutyens, the project reimagined a historic site in the heart of the City of London with access from both Finsbury Circus and South Place. The result is an elegant balance of old and new: a building firmly rooted in its context, yet distinctly contemporary.

We’re proud to celebrate 76 Southbank, winner of Best Refurbished / Recycled Workplace at the @bco_uk Awards. Recognised for its exceptional refurbishment and extension of Sir Denys Lasdun’s final major building, the project was delivered with remarkable care and attention. Judges praised the project team for its sensitive material approach - from replicating the original precast granite panels to reimagining the building’s connection to the public realm with new entrances and generous riverside terraces. A true reflection of the collaboration and expertise behind the project.
