Great day for baseball, indeed. Braves 3, Dodgers 2. Series tied at 1 each… this doesn’t beat the time I came with Jerry, Puig threw his champagne soaked up Snuggie into the stand and he got it. This was the first year that Magic Johnson became part of the Dodgers organization. Wish I had Philippe The Original French dip sammy prior to the game, definitely a tradition near dodgers stadium. by @stanleysf

Today I decided to go down memory lane and visited one of my favorite spots to watch football while I was in college.
SFSU didn't have a team - it's mostly a commuter school and mainly for academics - but Cal has great tradition, and it helps if you have roommates and friends who went there too. Shaun, Jon, Scott, and many others... oh, the late nights on Shattuck and Telegraph.
USF was also a great school to make new friends and party. 242 Anza, you know who you are... haha! Lol.
I'm glad I was a late transfer. I learned a lot about my identity, my likes and dislikes, my personality, and how to make a name for myself. Coming in, I knew I was an underdog coming from a small town like Fresno, while most of the incoming transfers were from big cities and more educated but lucky for me, I had more experience.
I'm glad I got involved in school activities and extracurricular. I was able to compete against my classmates even though no one tells you that college is a competition and involves some politics. I had no excuses, no distractions, and my parents worked very hard so I could have an education and fulfill my dreams.
I wanted to know everyone and everything, from professors and classmates to anyone in the industry - from CEOs to entry-level bellhops. I did extensive research on anything about the city. The who’s who if you will. It's funny how you treat people is how they remember you. I'm blessed to have learned early on how to treat people with respect, especially those who came before us. They paved the way and you have to continue the tradition and legacy. A part of me feels like I should have been more accomplished by going to UC or Ivy League schools but also is that how I want to be. by @stanleysf

@stephen.wilson.jr rocks! So does Gary! ✌🏼🫶🏻🤘 definitely death cab for country and a very grunge like CGCEGC tuning! You don’t hear music like this anymore. Very talented guitarist and vocalist …very Eddie Vedder / Johnny Cash like. Food scientist turned musician, life after 40… 🤘🔥 taken in The Masonic by @stanleysf
