“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many”. - Mark 10:45 It has never been about me, and it never will be. I am honored to have graduated from Officer Candidate School and earned the title of United States Marine. But to say I accomplished this in my own strength would not be true. I thank God because without Him, I would not have had the strength to persevere, the courage to press on, the ability to learn, or the peace to endure. I thank God because without Him, I would not have the family and friends who faithfully encouraged and supported me through every step of this journey. I thank God because without Him, I would not be where I am today. More importantly, I thank God for the responsibility He has entrusted to me. Earning this title is just the beginning of a calling to lead Marines with humility, integrity, courage, and selflessness. Through Jesus’ example, I know that leadership is not about status or being served, but about serving others with a servant’s heart and placing the welfare of those entrusted to me above my own. Lastly, I’d like to extend a thank you to my parents who have always shown me the importance of leading in this way and my brothers as well for always being my number one supporter in this journey. I look forward to this next chapter of my life and whatever the Lord has in store. by @starjak34
A weekend that I will forever remember. Thank you madre and padre for always being my support system, encouraging me to take risks, and being there to celebrate this weekend alongside me. I’d also like to extend a thank you to all of my buddies and everyone who has supported me in this journey. - Got my Aggie Ring! - Awarded Brazos County Military Officers Association of America medal - K-2 honored at family weekend march in review by @starjak34

250 years of selflessness Looking forward to carrying it forward! “For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” - Mark 10:45 by @starjak34
Went from “LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS” to “Alpha 2, Dismissed”… “It’s not about the destination but the people you meet along the way” “Business trip or vacation?” … I could write a hundred different captions and share a hundred different thoughts and memories, but above all, I’m proud of every single one of my new mids. I’m grateful to have worked alongside the best team in helping you grow and succeed. I can’t wait to see where life takes you. Stay true to yourself and always remember your “why.” I’m going to miss helping you all grow, but I know you’re in good hands moving forward. by @starjak34
Got to BTHO 18 miles, listen to live music, and worship God?! Sounds like a solid day to me 🤷‍♂️ Psalm 34:3 by @starjak34
Next Stop: Aggieland . . . . 🚨warning... long caption🚨 . . . I seriously could not have done any of this without my family and my biggest source of strength the lord my father. To my closest friends at DHS, I'll miss you and can't wait to see where life takes you! Mom and Dad, you will always and forever by my best friends and biggest supporters. I will always stand with you and you will always have your little boy at heart. There is no distance that can seperate us. I love you both so much and appreciate yoh more than you could ever imagine. To my brothers, you have always pushed me to be better, supported me, and inspired me. Remember to stay confident in yourselves and believe that you are capable of wonders. I will always be one call away. Remember, while you may believe I have set the bar high, I know that you are all capable of accomplishing more than I ever could. I see your potential and know that your individual strengths will be a beacon of excellence, prosperity, and never ending connection with the lord. Joey, I know that you couldn't make it to my graduation and I am 100% okay with that because what you are doing in South Dakota... serving this country is one of the most honorable things you can do. Lastly, Papa... you will forever by in my heart and I know that you were at the end of that stage ready to call me a bonehead. I love you all and until then, I'll see you in the Corps of Cadets #classof2023 #2023 by @starjak34
To say I'm proud of my brothers in their first wrestling tournament of the season is an understatement! The last time they stepped foot on the mat was three years ago and to see how amazing they did with so much confidence is incredible. They may have given me so much anxiety watching them but it was so amazing and exciting. Connor ended up placing first, weighing in at 132 Lbs. in the 136 weight class and Xavier ended up placing third, weighing in at 137 Lbs. wrestling in the 146 weight class. Connor is also the very first wrestler to win a gold medal in Davenport High School history! I am very proud of both of you and can't wait to see how much you both improve and succeed this season. by @starjak34
Happy Father's day to the best dad that anyone could ever ask for. You really show what it means to give it all you've got and never give up. You have always put our family first no matter what. No matter the situation or time of day you always make time to take us to events, school/sports, and to see friends. You are the living symbol of what it means to have leadership, commitment, and all that it takes to be the best man, friend, brother, and leader wherever you go. I don't think that I could ask for a better father. I love you and Happy Fathers day. by @starjak34
