First found out about TYB when they released OMG He's In The House and loved how they don't fit one genre. Seeing them at my first Download in 10+ years was the perfect way to start a chaotically fun weekend surrounded by music (I will never forget cardboard cutout Charlie Simpson get fucking annihilated in a wrestling ring). Genuinely great music, amazing fans, and some of the nicest, down to earth guys I've met.

"Near Oxford street, tucked away from the superficial glitz and glamour, we venture down into the belly of The 100 Club, an iconic venue and beacon for punk-rockers, for MERYL STREEK’s intimate show for the release of his latest album Stories They Don’t Teach You At School, a ferocious album that rips apart the “slimy politics” of today and the disillusionment sweeping through the common people exhausted by constant bad news. This was a night for punks of all ages to get educated and embrace rage."

"By the time WREX took to the stage, half the support acts had hurriedly joined the audience (the rest still loading out their gear), showing themselves as industry colleagues and heartfelt fans as everyone moved straight into headbanging and jumping to quick-fire S.A.D., singers Mae Seaton and George Donoghue harmonising and trading off vocal sections whilst touring drummer Greg Walton locked in and looked thrilled to bring an onslaught of drum beats to Consume."

"The Lady Luck is filled back to the doors now, to the point fans are having to stand practically on the side of the stage just to get a glimpse of headliners DESIRE/LINES. Describing themselves as “fuzz” rock, the homegrown Canterbury quartet weave inspired grunge rhythms into iconic emo hooks and sentiments."

Daffodildos came to The Grace armed with bright colours, big riffs and absolutely no patience for creeps, transphobes or assorted people who need to get in the bin.

The Brighton trio kicked off Be N!ce’s final UK tour date with ‘Park Bench Creep’, ‘Never Enough’, ‘Transphobic Trevor’, ‘Get In The Bin’ and ‘Rebel Ian’, earning themselves a sizeable mosh pit along the way.
