Peridance is proud to announce our latest Artist-In-Residency, Starla Edwards (@starl.a).Since 2022, this unique initiative offers selected #artists 5-hours of studio space weekly and access to #performance opportunities in a vibrant, supportive environment. Our carefully curated selection of talented individuals fosters collaboration and innovation, allowing #dancers to push boundaries and explore new ideas. This residency encourages experimentation and growth, culminating in a showing at Peridance.Starla Edwards (she/her) is a #choreographer and performer based in New York City. Her work grows from a deep curiosity about personal history and expression and has been presented in venues across NYC. She was a Spring 2025 #ResidentArtist with the Baryshnikov Arts Center, where she began developing her current work THICK SALT. by @starl.a
