POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Seriously, posting to social media to promote music feels so fucking wild right now. I'm simultaneously terrified and angry as an SA survivor, mom of 2 young girls, AND child of refugees so I haven't had the spoons to post often. But music is community care and we need that right now to fuel us. I NEED IT. We carry our passports everywhere, I've told my mom not to go out but I'm doing the WAISN rapid response training this week and loving my kids and neighbors ferociously.

And since I mentioned it. Next Star Matriarch show is February 20th @realarttacoma with @shamebanger @nogginless_official and @downsizeband
hosted by @gritcitypunk

@doyouseewhatkc (shown here on drums) and @thehotrockdrops (here on bass) are joining me. This clip is from our Jan 3, 2026 show at @babayagaseattle
Song is 'Interchangeable'

Everything is connected. Ignore at your own risk.

Also, this idea is not original. Black folks have been pointing this out for generations, and they're saying it now.

"We're going to bomb them back into the Stone Age." said Gen. Curtis E. LeMay, Air Force Chief of Staff, re: the US role in the Vietnam War

Being inclusive means less room for wyt mediocrity to hold power. Too weak and mediocre to be deserving of power yet too fragile to accept no one group or person is meant to hold so much power. They really should develop some 'resilience'. But instead they hoard, steal, lie, kill, destroy.

You can tell I'm thinking really hard to stay in time and chanel PJ Harvey the best I could! This whole record has been a huge influence for most of my musical life. Been reaching for it again and again as I seek inspiration for new Star Matriarch stuff. I wish I had written "lick my legs/I'm on fire"

Much gratitude to @trashpandagokart for including us and for organizing such a beautiful event @slcsaloon where we got to connect with such fierce femme and queer fronted bands here in Western WA. taken in Slims Last Chance by @starmatriarch

Because too many don't understand what 'F**k white supremacy' means.

It means I'm sick of Empire telling us that white art, white music, white literature, white religion, white gender roles,
white languages, white social norms, white science, white family models, white education systems, white 'conflict resolution', white medicine, white economics, white money, white systems of governance, white bodies, white wars...
Sick of it all sold to us as the gold fking standard

Song is 'Mỹ Lai to Rafah' from my LP 'Red Ship'

Unfortunately All Friends Here had to drop from this show, but Missmanaged came in clutch to take their place.

Everything else is the same.
It's going to be awesome, don't miss this show!

Tickets available on realarttacoma.com or the link in my bio.
