Our STAR Initiatives Basketball Clinic had a fantastic turnout! John Wallace is here dropping gems for the kids, sharing what it takes to be great, drawing inspiration from NBA legends and other sports icons. If you want to be the best, this is what great players do. Grateful for his invaluable wisdom and inspiration!

A Powerful day for the ⭐️STAR Cohort⭐️

Our girls attended a documentary screening with Communities Not Cages, featuring the stories of individuals who documented their journeys while incarcerated. Following the screening, participants had the opportunity to engage in a live panel discussion with several of the men — many of whom are now home and rebuilding their lives.
The conversation was honest, thought-provoking, and powerful. Our girls asked meaningful questions about accountability, transformation, personal growth, future goals, and life beyond incarceration.
At STAR, we believe exposure matters. Meaningful conversations create perspective, challenge assumptions, and remind us that healing, growth, and transformation are possible.
Because people are more than their circumstances. These are the moments that shift perspectives. Exposure. Dialogue. Healing. Understanding. ⭐️
