Words honestly fail me when it comes to describing these last three weeks. I was so hesitant going into this show but it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences ever. Everyone that I met in this cast is someone ill remember for probably the rest of my life, going through rehearsals with all these amazing lively people truly had me waking up each day excited and happy to go to camp. I made bonds with people that I truly hope will never fade. I love everyone that I met so incredibly much and I truthfully cannot express my full gratitude.

As for this role, Clarisse was honestly such a fun character to play. The choreography, mannerisms, lines, all of it was something that'll be engraved in my memory for months now. (Especially sneaking ruegard into all of this.)

This show and cast is so incredibly special to me.

Today I had the honor of leading an Anti-ICE protest at my school with 2000 kids in attendance.

For those that dont know, im an Arab Latino so this issue is incredibly deep in my soul, I have spent nights crying over those I've lost, mourning those that were kidnapped and grieving people that weren't even dead. With this grief, I chose to start a movement in hopes of making a change.

What I have to say is that this truly would not be possible without everyone that showed up for their community. This would not be possibly without all the brave souls that came.

You should all be so proud and so incredibly happy with yourselves because today we made a difference. We sang to songs deeply rooted in our cultures, We united together in a country trying to rip us apart, we danced together, we celebrated our cultures while also making our message loud and clear.

We used our voices for all those that couldn't and you should all feel so accomplished of that. You are all hope in a very dark world and all of you will go on to do great things. We became the change we need in this country

This country would be absolutely nothing without immigrants. They built this country. They do the jobs we dont want to. They feed us. This country is ran by hardworking immigrants that came here for their family and we are doing an incredible injustice to them by staying silent about the horror in this world.

Im glad I was able to provide a voice for all of you that were too afraid to use your own. Im so incredibly honored to have started something so important and uniting in a town like this.

P.S : To everyone that said "you won't" please take this as a big fat "yes the fuck I will."
