this is my late post for lightning thief… i forgot to post i was too sad about it ending…
this was genuinely such a good experience and im forever grateful to the people i met and got the privilege to get to know during this camp. i loved every second of it even when it was hard, when i was sad, or when it hurt. the people made it easy to be myself and i didn’t feel unwanted for a second. i made such good friends and i hope we’ll all be back next summer and ill see you again. from the group hugs to the human pyramids, it was a truly magical experience.
i’ll miss you katie gardner,
fellow halfbloods i’ll see you next summer,
to all my trees you were wonderful,
thank you forever lightning thief. ⚡️🪏🪴🧢

Cooper spent the summer at Redding Performing Arts Center, as a camp counselor for “Finding Nemo” & “How to Train Your Dragon,” and then as Percy Jackson in “The Lightning Thief.” What a summer it’s been!! He is so talented & as someone who also grew up performing, I love seeing him hone his craft more and more.

This weekend was “The Lightning Thief,” and I LOVED getting to know this stellar cast better. Such a great group of high schoolers!

I saw all 5 performances and would’ve loved to see 5 more! What a great show.

Thank you, Mr. Chris, Mr. B, Miss Marlena, Miss Elizabeth, Miss Breanna for loving on our kids in such a powerful way.

Proud of you, Coop.

Lightning Thief 3/3
This might be the hardest post to make. I feel like I put so much of myself into this role, so I dont wanna say goodbye to it. This might be the best role Ive played, and I'm go glad I got to do it with such an amazing kid playing percy. This show is so meaningful and I'll always hold it so close to my heart. Im so happy that out of all possible casting choices, cooper got to be my son and I got to be Sally. I don't think I'll ever play a role like this again, or even get another a chance to connect with other actors in this way. Thank you @reddingpac for putting on such a special show!! 💙Now...how do i stop feeling maternal towards cooper...

P.S. the next lightning theif post I make will be all the professional photos

Woah I don’t really post at all. But ITS NATIONAL GFS DAY AND NOW 29 DAYS UNTIL MY ANNIVERSARY!!! I love this girl so much. She means everything to me and I can’t believe we’ve been together so long. She’s so incredibly perfect, from her hazel amber eyes, to her perfectly aligned teeth, to her angelic voice.

I would not give her up for everything. She’s my everything. I love her so much. And I’m so incredibly happy being with her. @starrysarabi I LOVE YOU MON CHERÍ!!!

Who could ask for anything more?

My 1st baby is going to high school! I couldn't be more proud of you and your growth kid. Seeing you become a young woman is the most rewarding thing i could ask for.

Also, Someone was definitely cutting onions in the crowd. Multiple people were effected lol
