What an incredible night. I still can’t believe it happened. My first Rush concert was 2010. Time Machine (not R30, like my parents and I previously thought). Saw them again for R40. Never thought I would get the chance again after Neil passed. My parents drove out to Buffalo and I drove us up to Toronto for what may have been the last ever Rush show in their home city. An unforgettable night and a memory that will stay with me. taken in Scotiabank Arena by @starsovation

Little man, BIG personality. It was so hard losing Bitz, and nothing will replace him. He leaves big spicy shoes to fill. Mr. Xanadu B. Mouse has brought a lot of joy the last couple days, and I’m so excited to watch him grow. He is about 13 weeks old, but only 2 lbs. He had a rough start to life, but he is going to be so spoiled from now on. by @starsovation

My little stinky goblin. We had such an amazing 11 years and 4 months together. You came into my life at the perfect time, and I will never forget the day I went in “just looking” and left with you. You were spicy and ferocious, but also just a little baby. Always getting into trouble, laying on anything left on the floor for more than 2 minutes, and bossing everyone around. We have been through three houses together. So much has happened in my life and you’ve been there for it. To cheer me up, or cheer me on. You always had to be with me, like you were attached with Velcro. Somehow you always knew when I was on my way back from a weekend away and would alert the world by yodeling about an hour before my arrival. You always greeted me at the door, even in the last few weeks as you were slowing down. During Covid we taught 7th grade together, and you were a wonderful assistant, always keeping the kids entertained. Now that you’re gone, who is going to trip me as I walk into the kitchen? Who is going to supervise my meal and demand to taste test it? Who is going to mooch every meal from every person he can? Who is going to make sure I make it to the bathroom safely at 3am? Who is going to be there when I walk into the door no matter how long I was gone for? Who is going to ski across the coffee table looking for snacks? Whenever I eat olives I’m going to think of you, weirdo. I don’t know what my life would have been like without you, but I have to find that out now. I’m going to miss you so much stinky baby. I’m going to miss your headbutts. I’m going to miss your morning make up supervision. I’m going to miss you kicking me out of my own bed. I’m going to miss you. Wish I had brought the newspaper from my great aunt, but she would have loved doing this with me. She loved traveling and seeing the sights, and I’m thankful that Pete likes to do these things too 🥰 taken in CN Tower / Tour CN by @starsovation
