A year ago, Starz Acro® was just an idea.

Not a fully formed plan. Not a polished programme. Just an idea that grew from a desire to help teachers feel more confident introducing Acro classes.

Today, teachers and coaches from across the UK are training with us.

We’ve watched schools launch new classes, create new opportunities for the children they support, and develop their own confidence along the way.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve found myself reflecting on just how much can happen when you take action on an idea that won’t leave you alone.

Speaking in Barcelona. Connecting with inspiring business owners. Exploring new opportunities and partnerships. It all reinforces one thing…

We’re only just getting started.

The vision has grown far beyond creating a training course.

We’re building a community of teachers and coaches who want to introduce Acro safely, confidently and with a clear framework to follow.

And that feels incredibly exciting.

WE’RE PARTNERING WITH I-PATH!

We’re so excited to announce that Starz Acro® is partnering with I-PATH to create an accessible pathway from Acro teacher training through to Ofqual-regulated graded examinations.

At Starz Acro®, we help teachers build the knowledge, understanding and confidence they need to teach Acro safely and effectively through our online teacher training.

Our Starz Acro® framework remains exactly that: a complete framework for teaching and recognising progress in your Acro classes, with our Levels, Skills Booklets, Badges and Certificates.

And now, for teachers who would also like to offer their dancers the opportunity to work towards graded examinations, there’s another pathway.

After completing Starz Acro® Teacher Training, teachers can progress to I-PATH Acro Dance CPD, before teaching the I-PATH Acro Dance syllabus and entering their dancers for I-PATH Ofqual-regulated graded examinations.

A special thank you to Mariona Hawkins, Founder & Artistic Director of Active Dansa and creator of the official I-PATH AcroDance syllabus. Mariona introduced us to the team at I-PATH and has been instrumental in bringing this partnership together. Thank you, Mariona , for making the introduction and for all your support.
