Always great visiting with my friends at the IAB - Indian Americans for Burlington as we gather for the #Burlington third annual celebration of #Diwali on the Town Common. Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, begins at the end of October but we gathered in today's warm weather to welcome autumn. taken in Burlington Town Common by @staterepkengordon21st

Big week for Middlesex 3 Coalition transportation! On Tuesday we held our final informational meeting prior to the rollout of the Lowell to Burlington shuttle service at @tuscankitchen. Everyone involved has put hard work and passion into this important project.
Yesterday at Grandview Farm in Burlington we were joined by @michelleciccolo of Lexington, @tamigouveiama, @abctma, @t4mass, and former Bedford Town Manager Rick Reed to discuss our transportation needs. by @staterepkengordon21st

At a time when women continue to work to break down social barriers to create greater equality, it is important to honor the legacy and tireless efforts of our trailblazers. I was proud to join my colleagues and vote for the establishment of a state-wide #womenrights History Trail. This effort will shine a spotlight on women who have shaped the Commonwealth and the places where these historical acts happened. .

No better way to kick off #BedfordDay than to have the chance to present the Oates family, particularly Judy and Bob Oates, a citation from the House of Representatives in honor of the 25th, and final, Danny Oates Memorial 5K.
Judy, Bob, Lisa Freed and a handful of devoted Bedford residents have spent the last quarter-century and raised more than $150,000 to support local students through the race and the Danny Oates Memorial Scholarship Fund.
It’s events like this that make Bedford a special place to live. Special thanks to Bedford resident Rob Ackerman for taking these wonderful photos! taken in John Glenn Middle by @staterepkengordon21st

Great to join @sencindyfriedman, @msosheriff Peter Koutoujian and Massachusetts Association of Mental Health Dr. Danna Mauch and HHS Behavioral Health Dir. Scott Tabner to discuss our work on the Middlesex County Restoration Center. We are looking to establish a place to help people suffering from mental illness and substance abuse without overburdening our prisons or emergency rooms. Exciting work!
