Works in progress… Since the #ocrally … well since I bailed at the start -to fly back and take care of an unexpected family surgery. Things have been a bit messy.

The ER saw us thrice that month as a kiddo fell 10ft out of a tree, Jess ditched a useless gallbladder, and I smashed my eye in a very uncool way.

While I was ER’ing @krisclewell shot me his story on “how a piece of s*** car saved his life” which really set a tone of showing up regardless of discernible progress.

I’ve showed up and up and up. To an empty shop at @goodwood.co to put out a thousand not so important fires, to my family despite my own lack. Yet slowly things are improving starting to move, to be unstuck.

Though I’m feeling a bit bummed, I don’t know if the next rally is in the cards. The 912 is currently looking like it’s time to build the motor. Still, showing up - to figure it out. I have a few ideas, and with the community of folks who encourage them… I hope to be on my way. #alwaysshowup by @stavn

What is this Overcrest Rally?

It’s more people focused than you’d think. Folks from all walks of life, young, not so young, folks with resources, some with less, and some who hand it out in a fix or a part to keep everyone going. In short a community of folks who are curious, to explore to venture out with uncertainty on the outcomes.

This year was the most special for me, the anchor dropped on key friendships and fun side quests and then the solo time over 4000k miles when I’m home was the best thing I could ask for. taken in Wisconsin, USA by @stavn

Night Zero with @overcrestproductions

From stoke, to absolute fear as a tornadoes 🌪️ ripped through the field next door… then relief and reunion, new friendships and overall joy to be back together and back on the road with our community.

2 0 2 4 💨 Years are zipping by to fast, but I’m not going much faster.
