I’ve been asked to be a selector to-nite at @myrtle.rhodeisland so I’ll be bringing a few cases of “little records” for the patrons. Live streaming may have so keep your peepers open. 8-10pm by @steadysounds

SOLD OUT FOR NOW Picked up a few copies of this reissue of an incredibly rare and obscure tape only release from Richmond, Va’s own Famous Actors From Out Of Town on the always dependable @electriccowbell. Originally released in 1986 and featuring past and future members of Orthotonics, Sparklehorse, Tom & Marty Band (look them up for a good time) and many more. it straddles the line between out-experimentation and a post-punk growl. It’s very Richmond, if you know what I mean. $24+shipping, DM to purchase. by @steadysounds

Very excited to be Dee-Jaying tonight from 8-11pm at East Providence’s best venue @myrtle.rhodeisland! I’ll be spinning some funk & soul “little records” including some deep Virginia cuts. It’s free, and if I get a wild hair I’ll live stream. taken in Myrtle Rhode Island by @steadysounds

UPDATE: SOLD OUT Attention lovers of the obscure, I have some copies of the (mostly) unreleased recordings from Richmond, Va late 60s soul group Smash Machine. Contains the complete demo recordings and two tracks from the stupidly rare demo 45 that was originally scheduled to be releases on Colpar records. Only 100 pressed, $30 plus shipping. DM to claim a copy. by @steadysounds

Lots of Necktan activity in my feed thanks to @sleepytime.trio @ryecoalition and @bellsontrike so here’s a pic or a well worn Art Gone Wrong shirt. Art by Chris Hope and unknown. Though Necktan is the crown jewel of the original collection I had collected more works by Dot Shipe than any other artist. I wish I still had “Bustle Of Underwater Life”. Where did that one end up? #necktan #artgonewrong by @steadysounds
