So the saga / indecision around which is the best Submariner for me continued - Welcome the 2005 14060m - Two liner - holes case - pre-engraved rehaut. Original Full set.

After more 6 digit Subs than I’d care to admit, a Kermit, and a 4 line 14060m I think I have finally found the perfect one for me.

A few months back I stupidly thought I’d finally resettled on a 124060. But something was still nagging at me. The one day I was commuting home from work and there was a gentleman sat opposite me, probably mid 50’s so around ten years older than me wearing one of these and it made me think about how well it suited him and how my 124060 one day wouldn’t suit me sooner rather later. So the seed was sown.

I also realised the watches that resonate with me the most are the ones I grew up looking at on my Uncles wrist and or wanted to buy in my early twenties when they were beyond my reach. So after getting this a month or so ago it got me looking at another neo vintage diver to add to perfectly compliment it. More on that later! 🙂 by @steelslags

Back to work this week and a well earned rest from 2 weeks with the kids! 😂
SMP300m is getting daily wear as it’s fitted to cope with the sweltering heat in London. I really need to invest in a steelreef extension for my 14060m but this one is always an absolute pleasure! 💙 by @steelslags

Boat day today! A day on the water can’t be beaten for me and I got actual salt water on my 62MAS swimming in the sea 😎 As an aside I’ve finally found a watch I genuinely enjoy wearing a nato on which makes me happy cause I’ve always loved the aesthetic. by @steelslags
