Top 8 at the World Cup in Takamatsu 🇯🇵
Really proud of how I fenced, and the best possible way to close almost two months on the road, from Boston 🇺🇸 to Japan 🇯🇵
More to come!

For many years I fenced with @uhlmann.fencing gear. Now, after nearly a century at the top, they’re closing their doors.
This one hits close.
Thank you for the impeccable service, and for the honour of representing your equipment on the piste. You were there through my highest highs and my lowest lows, and that’s not something I’ll forget.
To everyone at Uhlmann: you will be missed. Wishing you all the very best in your next chapter. 🤍
And with that, the season 2025-2026 is a wrap.

Today, my tea obsession reached a whole new level🍵
I never leave the house without hot water and a carefully selected collection of tea leaves. But this experience was entirely unmatched. A tea expert initiated us into a cozy Gong Fu tea session and actually let me take over the brewing after a few steeps!
Brewing silver needle tea (tea connoisseurs will know 🍃👌) in an authentic Chinese tea house was an absolute dream come true 🇨🇳 taken in Zhujiaojiao Ancient town, Shanghai china by @stef.de.greef

5x Belgian champion!! 🇧🇪
In 2016, at 18 years old, I won my first Belgian senior championship. Now, 10 years later, I have just brought home this legendary piece of Belgian fencing history for the 5th time. 🏆
10 years can be confronting in pictures, right @seppevanholsbeke 😝?
At 28 years old, I am proud to still be able to compete at the highest level, travel the world, and build meaningful connections through my passion.
Grateful for the support of @adeps_officiel, @escrimebelgique and @uhlmann.fencing along the way. by @stef.de.greef

Fully recharged and ready to roll. Kicking things off with some light movement to shake off that holiday mode. Stronger sessions ahead!

2024–2025 FENCING SEASON: WHAT A RIDE

This year brought many changes. One of the most meaningful was being recognized by @adeps_officiel and @escrimebelgique with a part-time contract—support that allows me to stay fully committed to the road to LA 2028.

At the same time, my dedication to fencing led to a tough reality: I was let go from my position in European public affairs. It seems that not everyone believes in the possibility of a dual career. That was especially hard because EU affairs isn’t just a job—it’s another passion of mine, and one I pursued with great commitment when I was working.

Still, this unexpected shift opened up more time for training, traveling, and competing—an opportunity I’ve embraced with gratitude. I’m thankful for the moments I’ve shared with my team and international fencing community this season.

I’ve come to realize I’m not done with this life yet.

See you after the summer break! taken in Around The World by @stef.de.greef
