We shot this episode the morning after we had finished our 6th men’s retreat, on location @orana_retreat

Not only do you get to see the beautiful back drop of where we hold this experience, but you also get a tangible insight into what we are cultivating here.

It was a pleasure to sit back and talk to Stefan, not only about his life, how he’s come to be in this position, doing this work but also ask him about this experience as if I had no experience of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and there is a lot of wisdom in it.

What if four days could change your mindset completely?

That’s exactly what happens at our @project_fellas men’s retreat.

We don’t claim to fix all your problems and we try to be humble in our marketing approach when we use words like ‘transformative’ or ‘life changing’…

However what has continually been expressed by the participants, facilitators and all involved are those words and the words expressed above.

The retreat itself is rather simple in nature:

• Four days in nature
• No phones, no distractions
• A mountain of hearty food
• Guided workshops, group conversations, and solo reflection

You don’t need to come to our retreat to feel this, it can be created by others with the right place, people and intentions.

It does take work though, genuine heart felt intention and a real want to do this work, to go deep and create a welcoming space—and I can tell you first hand that it exists here.

Why are spaces like this necessary? Because men need connection. We need to feel the power of community, to heal the wounds of isolation, and to grow into our fullest selves. It’s not just a nice-to-have—it’s vital.

Throwing it back to this beautiful moment captured by @iykezachariah as we started to head into our first winter—this little initiative is creeping up to two years old! It has been so incredible to see all the men that have filtered through and that still attend, to reflect on how this space has grown and the powerful connections that have been fostered.

Grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey—it’s because of you that this vision keeps expanding.

Excited for what’s to come. Let’s keep building.
