The debut solo show of @ally_fallon @halesgallery At the Still Point of the Turning World

There is a beautiful freshness to these paintings; each work is an exploration of paint and space, a tension between controlled and expressive gestures, always with the legacy of British abstraction present. The youngest artist ever to win the prestigious John Moore’s Painting Prize, these paintings really feel like a new language. A real standout for me during @londongalleryweekend

On view until 17 July ✨

Magical visit to the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden in St Ives.
.
.
From 1949 until her death in 1975, Trewyn studio was Hepworth’s haven. Most of the sculptures and tools were left where the artist positioned them, preserving an intimate and personal history.
