I have some news to share.
And honestly, I'm absolutely devastated.

As some of you know, I started this year by opening a new page in my sustainability book.
The goal was to breed and farm rabbits for meat, pelts, and more or less free lawnmowing.

I spent months leading into the project doing research on different rabbit breeds, feed types, hutch set ups, processing, and anything I could find that might help along the way.

I built hutches to keep them safe, and found a local feed supplier to buy pellets and hay just down the road.

I had a goal, and from what I could see it just made sense...

So, now for the bad news... 😔

I live in Australia, and here we have something called Calicivirus, also known as Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus.
In 1996 this highly contagious disease was released with the intention to control a booming wild rabbit population.

And by fuck, does it do that..

6 months into my grand plan of self sustainability, things started to take a turn.
In a matter of days I lost everything. A Mum, Dad, and 9 beautiful baby rabbits that I had cared for, and loved for months.

From what started as finding Hoptimus dead one afternoon, very quickly snowballed into what can only be described as some kind of plague. It was like watching something out of a zombie movie.
My bunnies were dropping like flies, and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it.

I'm gutted... absolutely fucking gutted.

Where this leaves me now, I honestly don't know. It's been a hell of a journey, and one that'll probably take a little minute to process. But that's okay.

Thanks to everyone that came to visit, popped over for bunny cuddles, asked for updates, checked in, or simply just engaged online.
I appreciate all the support and encouragement.

But for now, that's a wrap.

RIP to the OGs, Marylin Bunroe & Hoptimus Prime.

Wickid Lickwid presents: Mystic State

This one was something a little bit special. I wanted to play a set different from anything I'd done before.
An ambient set, that was made up of almost an hour and a half of music with no drums or beat at all. Just cinematic soundscapes and atmosphere.

From something that started as a conversation in the park between @amorositie and I, turned into a deep dive into my musical influences over the years. Artists like Pink Floyd, Burial, Tool, Radiohead, Massive Attack, and Linkin Park, just to name a few.
I handpicked interludes and Bsides from albums I've grown up with, and stitched them together into a journey for people to actually listen to, not just dance.

Massive thank you to the crew at @wickid_lickwid , and the beauty that is @amorositie for always supporting me.

The wonderful @_4eyesmedia for absolutely smashing it on the camera.

All the crew on support, and the bro @mysticstate
for being an absolute legend and inspiration over the years.

And always, the homies at @ancientworld.5000 for always providing such an incredible space for us to share the arts.
