Your voice matters. Your vote matters.

If you’re eligible to vote, make a plan to vote early—and bring a friend with you! Exercising our right to vote is one of the ways we make sure our voices are heard and our communities are represented.

And while you’re bringing a friend, take a little time to talk with me about the matters that are important to you, your family, and our community. I want to hear what’s on your heart, what concerns you, and what you believe deserves our attention.

Let’s make our voices count!

Vote early. Bring a friend. Start a conversation.

Last night, I connected with the Greater Deyerle Neighborhood Association to talk about the future of Roanoke.

From stronger infrastructure and neighborhood investment to responsible spending, community partnerships, and greater resident voices in government, I am focused on finding practical ways to move our city forward.

I also emphasized the City’s responsibility to support Roanoke City Public Schools.

Good government starts with listening to the people it serves.

Absolutely wonderful crowd at the American Music Festival! I, along with two other City Council candidates, Raekwon Moore and Danny Clowson, were invited by Higher Heights to speak at the Festival at Elmwood Park on Friday, August 7th.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my candidacy for Roanoke City Council alongside two others who are passionate about moving Roanoke forward.

‘Clean Slate Law’ takes effect Wednesday, July 1:

Under the Clean Slate law, there are two kinds of record sealing — automatic and petition-based. Automatic sealing happens for people convicted of low-level misdemeanors — such as petit larceny, disorderly conduct or trespassing — who have gone seven years without another conviction.

For additional information, read article in its entirety. Share with others who might be interested or can benefit from this new law. by @stephaniemoon4roanoke
