My big fat Italian summer 🍕❤️‍🔥🤌🇮🇹⛰️

I think I have fallen just that little bit more in love with this country.

The old towns, the primo pasta course, the strong coffee, the big limestone mountains, the late dinners, the little local bars, and the general attitude that life is simply too short for a bad meal 🍝🤌

Somewhere between the carbs, the caffeine and the dolce vita, I have become even more convinced that Italy might just have this whole life thing figured out.

And after six months working with an Italian-speaking team, I’m running out of excuses not to learn the language.

Straight from one beautiful spot to another - hello, Canada! 👋

I’m here reporting on the WMRA World Cup Finals as the 2026 campaign reaches its grand finale in Québec 🍁🇨🇦

16 races. 10 countries. The World Cup has shown the very best of the sport and the WMRA’s continued work to grow mountain running worldwide.

The 2026 campaign comes to a close this weekend with the uphill and classic up-and-down races at @defi_des_couleurs 🧡

And it couldn’t be set against a more spectacular backdrop of autumn colours! ✨

A true mountain pilgrimage through the Dolomites - carrying big packs loaded with the kit and supplies we needed, and putting our @rab.equipment gear to the test across some seriously wild terrain.

Long days on the trail. Five days completely immersed in the mountains. George and I set off on an adventure with a group of strangers (turned friends), all raising money to end human trafficking and modern slavery.

There’s something pretty special about travelling through a landscape like this on foot - taking it one climb, one descent and one mountain at a time. It was a big step into the unknown for both George and I, and for many others embarking on this big adventure.

We pulled together as a tribe, immersing ourselves in true mountain people style, amongst some of the most beautiful corners of the planet, in aid of a brilliant cause.

WE JUST RAN 200KM ACROSS THE DOLOMITES 🤯⛰️

Singing the Kaiser Chiefs at the top of our lungs 🎵 Fuelling with pizza 🍕 and focaccia. Sleeping under the stars in some pretty special spots in the sky ✨

We took on over 8,000m+ of climbing - doing it together as a tribe of people running for one common goal: to raise money to help end human trafficking and modern day slavery.

It has been one beautiful, challenging and powerful week - witnessing the power of the human spirit, the beauty of this planet, and what we can achieve when we move together.

We return home tonight with a pair of tired legs, and full hearts.

125km/200km done. 5,000m+/8,000m+ of vert in the bank - and we are doing every step of it for the @tribefreedomfoundation! 💙

We are officially over halfway there, with two more days to go before we hope to make it round to Cortina on Friday afternoon.

It’s been a pretty special few days - a first ultra for George (so incredibly proud 🥺) and some of the most incredible scenery I’ve had the pleasure of running through.

The mountains have always been my place of joy ✨

Where I feel most connected to nature, and most connected to myself.

This year, perhaps more than ever, I’ve had to find my way back to that feeling. I’ve navigated my health, found my feet again, and slowly returned to the world I adore 🌎

Next week, I’m heading back to the mountains - to immerse myself in the environment where I feel most at home, and to take on a challenge with the incredible @tribefreedomfoundation RFL crew.

George and I will be running 200km through the Dolomites, taking on whatever the mountains have in store for us along the way ⛰️

It feels like the perfect way to reconnect, reset, and remind myself just how much I love this world.

And, if you’d like to spare a few pennies towards helping us raise money for the cause, we would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit makes a difference.

6 months, a lot of flights, even more mountain miles, and one big lap of the World Cup circuit 🌍

Documenting the chaos of Sierre-Zinal. Experiencing the community of the Castro Daire. Getting battered by the slopes of Nasego and soaking up the beauty of the Vauban Lakes.

I’ve had the chance to meet, chat, laugh and hang out with some of the best mountain and trail runners in the world - camera in hand, usually trying to keep up 😂

What a community it is.

A slightly mad bunch, all united by a love for mountains, running up and down them ridiculously fast, and pushing each other to see what’s possible ⛰️🔥

Over the next week, we're going to be introducing you to our incredible Run for Love 8 ambassadors...

In under 6 weeks, all our ambassadors will join 50 TRIBE runners on an unforgettable 200km multi-day ultra in the Dolomites ⛰️ Pushing limits and raising funds to end modern slavery.
