ITS A WRAP on my first proper shoot as a Director of Photography! Been working as a Focus Puller for around 2.5 years after I graduated from film school, I love and enjoy focus pulling but I know my passion always lies in Cinematography I’ve always wanted to start working as a DOP since last year but never know how to and stepping out of your comfort zone is never easy I’ve given myself a lot of excuse for a long time, ‘I don’t have a proper camera’, ‘I don’t know any director that will ask me to shoot a film’, ‘I don’t know if i’m good enough’. So when @isabel_mbi asked me to shoot this film I knew I have to take this opportunity straightaway Thats why I need to say a huge thanks to her for giving me this opportunity, for trusting me and listening to my ideas And my Gaffer @elihughescine, the shots won’t be looking nice without your help @lucie_lutte for writing such a funny script for us to work with And of course @bulbrentals_uk , @arthur_lok1 for renting me the camera kit and @matteblacklondon for the lighting kit Speical mention to @dannemmons for emotional support and giving me ideas on some shots Last but not least, my lovely camera and lighting team for being so on it @adamcadyfilms @samuelsutandarfilms @ajin_nius This is really long and probably no one is reading it, but thanks if you read it until the end lol (Also i’m still happy to focus pull so DOP don’t forget about me😂) by @stephofilms
