Cabo…. It has been amazing! Celebrated our boys graduating high school and college in all the best ways! We went on a sunset cruise to El Arco, snorkeled in La Paz, visited Balandra national park on a catamaran, went zip lining and rappelling, tequila tasting, barter shopping at the marina, quizzed locals to find the best tacos, swam and swam and spent hours in the pool. Well we ended our Summer run hiatus on a day that felt like Summer…. Go figure! In true fashion after a break, 6 miles was harder than it should be BUT every dirty, sweaty, hard step was worth the time out there @dawnruns …. And for the record…. Happy 27th wedding anniversary @telco_runner72 💜 it has been quite a year for us! The best part is, through the easy days, the amazing times, the celebrations, the hard days, the sad stuff and disappointments…. We always stand side by side and go through it together! A day late…. We had our first date 33 years ago. Back then we were young and the things that were important looked different. Our dating anniversary would need to be romantic and gifts would be involved, I am sure. 33 years in was a different kind of date night and our gifts are much more amazing these days. He had WSER to run. I was his crew chief. We shared the gift of support and teamwork, with our kids, our friends and family and strangers. We worked together, even while separated. We showed our kids, in the best way possible, what it looks like to show up for each other, in every way, even when shit gets so hard and doesn’t work out. Our kids and our friends and family supported and loved on him (us!) even when the dream ended at mile 62. We are blessed. Every single day. Even when life throws curve balls at us. @telco_runner72 … you are still the one. 33 years in. I am thankful for you, us, our kids, our life every day…. Even on the really hard, stressful, messy, make me smile and cry and feel all the things kinda days like yesterday. Happy dating anniversary….last night was the best anniversary even with the heartbreak. We are so lucky 💜💜 by @stephrunsfar
