This is a collection of some of the amazing folks that I have guided home over the years. I save and cherish these moments— they stay with me in my heart, and my mind, and in my photo book of memories. Every person who chooses me to be their advocate is forever woven into the fabric of my story.

There is nothing like the feeling of being able to positively impact the lives of others. Especially when it comes to their biggest financial decision and one of the biggest parts of life— home. It is simply the reason why I keep choosing this career day in & day out: through the noise, the late nights, the missed events, and the responsibility that I carry to protect every client as if they are family and as though each transaction is my own.

I am beyond grateful to work with amazing people and stay connected through the years. Handing over the keys to my clients’ new home is absolutely one of THE best feelings in this career. 🥰

I’m excited to share my real estate biography video that was filmed last fall. I’ll treasure it forever, especially because I made sure to get this filmed while we still had our guy Parker with us. 🐾 He is memorialized in this piece in which I share my heart with you all, as many of you have shared yours with me.

It’s with deep sadness that I share the passing of my beloved Uncle Rich. We found out last fall that he was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive, and terminal cancer. But that didn’t stop him from fighting with every ounce of strength that he had. In fact, he’d already beaten the odds in multiple ways. He had defied the statistics when I was little, after his first fight with cancer. And about 10 years ago he had a stroke, but made a miraculous full recovery. All with a positive attitude, all with hope, all with the faith that God would see him through.

I’ve shared with many of you about my Uncle over the years and his breathtaking home, and privately with some, about his final fight.

I have always marveled at his creativity, his joy, his light-filled spirit, and the community & home he created with my aunt Sharon.

Their home is one of my favorites in the world, and probably what started my love of homes and all of the life that lives inside of them.

Last November, I flew to CA to capture their incredible property that he poured so much of himself into, and to be able to have it as a capsule of his spirit while he still felt well enough. I will share more of that in the future, because it is absolutely magical and a gift to bear witness to.

Today, I cut a bouquet of hydrangeas that I will dry as a memorial of the day of his passing, from my backyard that he helped us landscape many years ago.

Whenever I look into my yard, and when I serve others through my life & work, I will be reminded of him and his beautiful legacy. by @stephsellsseattle

🤪 What I’m saying is, I’ve seen some shit, and I have thick skin. I AM however, actually full of empathy still, and a mama bear protector of my clients who gets it DONE. 🥰

SURVIVOR TREE | This Callery pear (Pyrus calleryana) symbolizes hope and resilience. It was given to the SR 530 landslide response community in 2014 to be planted as part of the Survivor Tree Seedling Program. Operated by the 9/11 Memorial in New York, the program sends seedlings each year to three communities that have endured tragedy.

The seedlings come from the Survivor Tree, a solitary Callery pear found damaged but alive after the terrorist attacks on New York City on September 11, 2001. Nursed back to health by the New York City Parks Department, the Survivor Tree stands today at the 9/11 Memorial.

Every 9/11 is a somber reflection on where I was that day, and the memories we created as a country and the world.

It’s incredibly poignant that the 9/11 Memorial provides a seedling to communities which have faced their own tragedy, and I won’t forget where I was when I heard about the Oso Landslide a few hours north of me.

This memorial park was created to honor the 43 victims and 11 survivors, as well as the incredible volunteers who showed up for the community. This park is stunning, and a must-visit. I’m so glad we stopped during our travels. ❤️‍🩹

I wrote the following snippet on June 25th, and it also applies to my September 2nd! “I took a little break from work this afternoon to majorly prune my roses ahead of the incoming rain and cut myself a bouquet.”

I haven’t cut myself many bouquets because I let my flowers stay pretty on the shrub instead. That also means that I have to scramble and do a lot of pruning, deadheading, and prep if rain comes our way. But these big bouquets bring me joy when I do make them! 🥰

This one is 90% Earth Angel, 5% Moonlight in Paris, and 5% The Lady Gardener.
