shoppies (noun)
shop·pies /ˈshä-pēz/
1. The sudden, unexplainable urge to shop.
2. A condition typically triggered by new arrivals, bright colors, or “just a quick stop.”
3. Not contagious… but highly influential.

Example: “Sorry, I can’t help it. I’ve got the shoppies.” 🛍️✨

First pointe shoes, secured. 🎀🩰

@updsdance came in ready to find their perfect pair… trying on different shoes, testing the fit, & figuring out what felt just right. A few Bloch, Nikolay, Suffolk, R-Class & Capezio’s later… we’ve officially got ourselves some new pointe dancers. 💗

Thanks for spending your fitting day with us, UPDS! And thank you to Miss Sophie for coming in & helping out! We loved having you in the store. ✨

Dancing with the Stars is back next week… so obviously we had to bring a little ballroom energy to the floor! 🪩

Who are you rooting for this season? 👀

@prairie.school.of.dance is officially en pointe! 🩰💕

New shoes, lots of smiles, & maybe a few “wait… THAT’S what pointe shoes feel like?!” moments 🤗

Thank you, Miss Michelle, for bringing your dancers to see us and sharing in the fun! ✨

Night two at the state fair was amazing!!!!
I went back to finals, competing with all who placed 1st on their semi finals night. I placed 2nd out of 6 acts ranging in ages 12 & under. There were piano players, singers, dancers and hula hoopers.

My mom and I were shocked that I placed and get to go to the Grandstand. Many famous bands and performers have been on this stage like Weezer, Maroon 5, The Black Keys and more.

No matter the outcome, I will dance knowing what an honor it is just to make it this far. 💛💛
