We need conviction back in the music… 👀🔥

This episode of Car Test Certified surprised me in the best way.

“RUN” by @stermonr was inspired by Joseph choosing to flee from temptation — and that message really sits at the center of the song: sometimes the answer isn’t seeing how close we can get without falling. Sometimes, you just need to RUN.

What I loved most is how he wrapped such a serious message in a record that still feels fun, energetic, catchy, and full of that modern pop-country sound.

The vocals, the backgrounds, the BANJO?! Yeahhhh 😂👏🏾

Go stream “RUN,” check out the rest of his music, and make sure you follow @stermonr because this one is officially Car Test Certified ✅🚗🎶 by @stermonr

One more time. One more excuse. One more turn around the same cycle.

That’s the feeling behind this verse of RUN: knowing something is pulling you under, but struggling to find your way out.

What helped you finally break a cycle?

Have you ever felt like no matter what you accomplish, it’s still not enough?

You reach one goal, then immediately move the finish line. There’s always something else to prove, something else to achieve, something else you think will finally make you feel whole.

But accomplishments were never meant to fill the places in us that only God can. At some point, we have to stop trying to achieve our way into worth and learn who we are beyond what we produce.

That’s the heart behind ENOUGH. ❤️‍🩹

It is an incredible honor to officially announce my appointment as a National Youth Ambassador at Large for the Commonwealth of The Bahamas 🇧🇸.

I am deeply honored to serve in this capacity, helping to ensure that the voices of young people are heard, represented, and included at the national level, while making meaningful contributions to the wider conversations surrounding youth and our future.

As I begin this two-year term, I am bursting with joy and excitement for the opportunity to serve alongside this incredible cohort of National Youth Ambassadors.

I look forward to using this platform intentionally, championing the creativity, ideas, and potential of Bahamian youth and contributing wherever I can to creating greater opportunities for the next generation.

Here’s to two years of service, representation, impact, and purpose. 🇧🇸

29 years of lessons, the growth, testimonies, failures, and victories. There’s so much I could say in all I’ve accomplished, seen, experienced, and hope to accomplish.

It’s crazy to think in a year I’ll be 30 when I still feel 21 the most lol 😂😂

But everything these 29 years brought is summed up in one: GOOD GOD. God has been faithful, and truly, I get it now beyond the cliché, but my own lived experience.

Psalms 27:13
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

Five-time Bahamas Gospel Music Awards winner Stermon continues to prove that he cannot be stopped! 🔥🎶

With consistency, creativity and a willingness to push beyond the familiar, Stermon returns with his debut EP, “RUN” a three-track project that showcases another side of his artistry. The project experiments with the sounds and influences of various genres, including Country, demonstrating Stermon’s ability to venture into new musical territory while maintaining his own distinctive identity.

Produced by Lesroy Byers, with songwriting collaborations from Avanti Bullard and Charles Smith, RUN represents continued growth for an artist who has remained consistent in releasing quality music and evolving his sound.

The production and overall quality of this project are superb, and its genre-blending approach has the potential to introduce Stermon’s music to an even broader audience, reaching listeners well beyond the shores of The Bahamas. 🇧🇸🌎

From winning five BGMA Awards to fearlessly exploring new sounds, Stermon continues to show that there is much more ahead.

Stermon is running and he isn’t slowing down. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨🎵 by @stermonr
