It was an honor to be invited and receive the Mr. George Community Service Award! The award represents the generous spirit of Publix founder George Jenkins. I am forever grateful and thankful to everyone who made this possible and also contributed to @official_hoagh without everyone it would not be possible! Thank you to my parents and family who always helped on all the projects during the late nights. And thank you to @publix for honoring me and for the opportunities you have granted me! Congratulations to all those who also were awarded! #miamidivision #publix #hoagh by @stevenferreiro

Recently I was honored to receive the @miamiherald Honorable Mention Silver Knight Award! I couldn’t be more blessed to receive it. There are so many people I have to thank because without them it wouldn’t be possible. So thank you to my mom, dad, and brothers Bryan and Jason who have been there since day 1 and have helped build what @official_hoagh is today and have helped build me to the person I am today. Thank you to my friends who come on their free time when I need them to help fill the HOAGH Mobile Food Pantry. Thank you to the HOAGH Advisory Board who have supported me and led me to bigger heights. Thank you to our community partners and organizations who have made it all possible without your commitment to helping others we wouldn’t be able to do what we do such as @abuelosfoundation , @farmsharefl , and many more! Thank you to the community and to those who have supported us in continuing helping others in our community. I also have to thank my school @miamiartsstudio and to the teachers and admin like Mr.Meador, Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. Lopez, and Dr.B who kept me going and always supported me! Congrats to all the other nominees! Thank you to everyone again who helped make this possible! Couldn’t be more grateful! #silverknight #miami #community #stevenferreiro #hoagh by @stevenferreiro

Manolo was more than just someone I knew he was family and another grandfather figure in my life. He was someone who was caring, strong, and loved what he did. He loved his cafecito and also wanted to leave this earth better than when he arrived by helping the community he lived in. He taught me so much and was always there for me and my family. Rest In Peace Manolo! You will never be forgotten. I love you te quiero mucho❤️🙏🏻 by @stevenferreiro

Throughout this session in Tallahassee I have had the opportunity of being able to meet with state legislators, friends, and local community leaders lobbying for projects within Miami-Dade County. I have had the honor with my colleagues from @fiusga in assisting in making sure projects that will benefit the student body of @fiuinstagram are successfully passed! I promise to always continue to work together with our state legislators and local community leaders as we continue to fight in putting the people first! #fiu #fiusga #baptist #tallahassee #miamidade #stevenferreiro by @stevenferreiro

Once again in January @official_hoagh and @cemex_usa partnered up to host the FEC Quarry 5/10K! It was a huge success with over 500 runners! I am also so grateful for the donation made by CEMEX that donation will go so far within helping families in our community! I can’t wait to see what is next within our partnership! #cemex #hoagh by @stevenferreiro
