Another announcement…..

Legendary scream queen Brinke Stevens (@stevensbrinke ) is the newest to the @reelnorthmedia family and it’s a huge honour to have her aboard.

I knew Brinke from The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) it was one of those films that I watched way too early and enjoyed too much. Playing Linda, and death by power drill, what a way to go.

Also she stars with 2 other of my clients, Michelle Bower in Bowl-A-Rama (1988) and reprising her role Taffy in the sequel and Vincent M. Ward in Death House (2017).

If you want to book Brinke for your convention or event drop me over an email:

Mick@reelnorhmedia.co.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Getting older is such a strange thing to wrap your head around sometimes.

Last night was the first public screening and Blu-ray release party for a film called “Dark Romances” that I made with some friends 40 years ago! It was a horror anthology that we shot in the late 80s and although it had a small VHS release back in the day, I’d largely forgotten about it.

I wrote and directed the “Cardinal Sin” episode of this anthology when I was 23 years old. I made lifelong friendships on that project and it was truly an era in the LA filmmaking scene that no longer exists. I was initially ambivalent about showing up for the Q&A as I had put this chapter of my life largely behind me but once I got there, I was really glad to keep an open mind and see some old friends which truly warmed my heart. We were all so much younger then and it was really mind blowing to see such a happy and full audience who had only heard about this obscure film, but I realized that it was now their cool discovery and it belonged to them, not living in my mind as a dusty, dim memory.

A big shout out has to go out to Daniel Del Pozzo of @culture_shockreleasing for rescuing this pioneering video feature from obscurity and oblivion. Thanks also to @whammyanalogmedia which is a great micro cinema in the heart of LA and to the lovely @stevensbrinke who is always a pleasure to see!

So great to see my old pals John, Barry and Pat. Hard to believe that this film is a “thing” 40 years later… ❤️

What an honor it is to have @stevensbrinke -horror icon and incredible overall talent record a PSA for our “Sharks Aren’t So Scary” Campaign. This will be running on my podcasts and I put this little video together to make it more social media friendly.

I worked with Brinke a little with my band Freak13® doing some video and convention work in the early 2000s and learned of her love of marine biology. When I came up with the idea for the campaign she was the first person I thought of.

Thanks Brinke! We appreciate you.

Please share this so people can learn sharks really aren’t so scary! (Chester Moore) #sharks #gulfgreatwhitesharks #greatwhiteshark by @stevensbrinke

I’ve been holding onto this one for a while now, but I am officially (& yes, legally) writing/directing/producing an All-New third chapter in the “Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama” franchise! Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer have all agreed to return to stop the evil Imp once and for all! Many other (surprise) fan faves will be included as well. NOW, as the film’s producer, the hunt for investors begins. This is NOT a crowd-funding campaign. I am only seeking investors. If you would like to be one of them, or simply gain more information (and yes, you would be listed as an Executive Producer and get paid a royalty/ Return-on-Investment), reach out to me privately thru FB, email, text, etc. by @stevensbrinke

Happy 72nd Birthday to Brinke Stevens - the queen of the scream queen scene. I had the pleasure of meeting Brinke in L.A in 1994 for ‘The Word’ with Dani Behr (not the one with Clem Fandango). From marine biologist to Slumber Party Massacre. Quite a journey. I just found this clip, looked her up and found out it was her birthday. Spooky, you might say. by @stevensbrinke

Indie Horror Junkie (@indiehorrorjunkie) is proud to announce the cast of its upcoming project, THE CLOCK HELLS BELLS, a supernatural horror short film and sequel to THE CLOCK.

The film is written, directed and produced by Indie Horror Junkie’s Rick Danford (@rickdanford) and Aimee Rolfsen (@aimee.rolfsen).

Legendary scream queen Brinke Stevens (@stevensbrinke) stars as Irma Toombs, the caretaker of a secluded bed and breakfast that is home to a mysterious grandfather clock.

Joining her are rising horror actresses Celeste Blandon (@celesteblandon) as Bethany and Kendall Krueger (@elmstreet143) as Madori, podcasting sisters known to their listeners as The Synsters. Their investigation into the clock’s sinister history soon reveals a deeply personal connection and places them at the center of something far more dangerous than they ever imagined.

Filming begins this September at the historic May-Stringer House (@thehauntedmuseum_brooksville) in Brooksville, Florida, widely known as one of the state’s most haunted locations.

THE CLOCK HELLS BELLS will make its world premiere on Halloween Day, October 31, 2026, as part of the Halloween Horror Picture Show. Following its premiere and select film festival run, the short film will ultimately become part of REELS OF THE DEAD, Indie Horror Junkie’s upcoming original horror anthology.

Hickory Dickory Doom. The clock is ticking again.
