Turns out I wasnā€™t the first Selvidge to play a gig shirtless!!!! Iā€™ve never seen this photo of my dad before. I think it might have been taken at The Bitter Lemon. #sidselvidge #steveselvidge #shirtlessselvidges by @steveselvidge

Lately Iā€™ve been obsessed with ā€œSheā€™s A Moverā€ by Big Star. Itā€™s one of two songs on Radio City with a different rhythm section. After years of speculation, Iā€™ve come to the conclusion that Alex also played his Strat on this song. Alex Chilton was my Dadā€™s favorite guitar player. He was so good. Deceptively clever. Also, I canā€™t believe how good the @strymonengineering Iridium sounds. #bigstar #alexchilton #stratocaster taken in Midtown, Memphis, Tennessee by @steveselvidge

In 1996, I was working for @rod.norwood He was a cruel boss, but thatā€™s another story. It was my job to order @ernieball strings for the store. As my band @bigasstruckband_memphis started to get a bit of a national profile, I asked Kurt Mangan about the possibility of an endorsement deal. Well, here we are 30 years later, and myself and also @theholdsteady are still part of the Ernie Ball family. And my family is an Ernie Ball family. I remain forever grateful. #ernieballstrings #ernieballslinky #ballsarebest taken in Midtown, Memphis, Tennessee by @steveselvidge
