Out now for @bandcamp Friday: Live in London 3-6-26!

The band was primed and ready to hit the stage on our first of two nights at the Electric Ballroom (@electricballroomcamden) for the Weekender 2026. We were celebrating 20 years of our biggest record Boys and Girls in America, so we hit the stage to “Boys and Girls” by Blur, then went into BAGIA in order, including some of the rarely heard B-sides like “For Boston” and “Teenage Liberation”. Once we got through that material, we picked up some songs from throughout the catalog, including unrecorded “Dream Down By The Water”. A great start to another great Weekender!

The Hold Steady is proud to announce The Weekender 2027 – celebrating 20 years of UK Killer Parties!

It’s been 20 years since our first UK tour, and we’ve made so many amazing friends and memories along the way. We’ll once again be spending four nights in London across the first weekend in March.

We’ll kick things off with a storytellers set on Thursday, March 4 at @thedomelondon in Tufnell Park, this year with the stage set in the middle of the room. Then we’ll head to the @electricballroomcamden on Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6 for two big rock & roll nights. We’ll finish things off on Sunday, March 7 at @thegaragehq in Highbury with a rowdy Sunday set.

Weekend extras include a Lanyards-only Welcome Event near The Dome on March 4, the Saturday Soundcheck/Happy Hour at Electric Ballroom on March 6, and the ever-popular Pub Quiz near The Garage on March 7. Merch bundles will also be available, and for the first time, we’ll be offering The Weekender Four-Show Ticket.

Artist presale: Wed, Sept 30 @ 12 PM UK time

General Onsale: Fri, Oct 2 @ 12 PM UK time

Password: MASSIVE

👉 Lanyards members, check your email for presale info!

Touring the UK has changed our lives. We’re excited to celebrate the past 20 years and the start of the next 20 years with you in 2027.

We can’t wait to see you in March. Until then, Stay Positive!

Out now for @bandcamp Friday: Live in Los Angeles 9-26-25!

Night one of our 2025 LA weekend started with “Multitude of Casualties” and kicked off a great three shows in the Golden State. A few songs in we hit “Ascension Blues” and then a couple later we debuted the new “Bronco II”. We began the encore with “Don’t Let Me Explode” which asks “What about Los Angeles?” Los Angeles came out strong for these shows, and it’s great to relive them here through this recording.

Not long till @theholdsteady hit @brooklynbowl for another year of Massive Nights. This might be our favourite time of year and it's always a good time with the best people.

We did it!

After some very rough travel from New York, which involved a bunch of us switching airports and airlines to make it in time for the first show, we pulled off an extremely fun PNW weekend...
