🚨FIRST SINGLE ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

After teasing for what seems like ages, we can announce that our first single “Shade and Common Ground” will be released on 7th November through @smallplacesrecords.

A video will drop the same day which was filmed in one day around Mem and Alan’s hometown of Hitchin where we borrowed various friends’ doors to film outside of.

On that same day, Saturday 7th November we will also be playing the Camden Barfly.

See previous posts for more details.

You can pre-save “Shade and common ground” through the link in our insta biography or you can find it in our stories today.

Our upcoming album “For the coverage” has a variety of styles but “Shade…” is probably the song where we show our love for bands like the @thereplacements , @theholdsteady and early @wilco.

Artist: The Hold Steady
Album: Boys and Girls in America
Cat: Iggy

Here is the third studio album by The Hold Steady, released on October 3, 2006.

The album title is a line taken from the opening lines of the song “Stuck Between Stations” (“There are nights when I think that Sal Paradise was right/Boys and girls in America have such a sad time together”), which in turn refers to a quote from American novelist and poet Jack Kerouac’s 1957 novel On the Road and its narrator, Sal Paradise.

Pitchfork rated Boys and Girls in America 9.4 out of 10, and named it the fifth-best album of the year. They later ranked it as the 64th best album of the decade.

Favorite tracks are “Stuck Between Stations”, “First Night”, “Hot Soft Light”, and “Chillout Tent”

I'm not really a "collector" of many things, but over the years I've accumulated some posters and prints relating to some of my favorite bands. Thought I'd share some of them here. I have a second somewhat related collection that I'll share here later.
