We took our new blaze orange gravel kits from Verge out for a spin this weekend - and we can attest, there is no missing them in the woods at this time of year. Plus, the kits coordinate very well with our STBG Race Flag kits (and who doesn't like to mix and match??).

As with our other kits, the Blaze Orange kits are made-to-order and delivered directly to you. These kits took four weeks from order to delivery.

And if you are considering ordering – check the sizing carefully. Steve, who normally wears large jersey and shorts, is wearing a 2XL jersey and XL shorts, while Kristin, who normally wears medium, is wearing large for both pieces. by @stevethebikeguy

It was just last week that we were out in the Berkshires, riding PMC Unpaved. Together, including our son's Winter Cycle, our family raised just over $9,900 - 100% of which will benefit the Perry S. Levy Fund for Gastrointestinal Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

At New England Youth Cycling (NEYC)'s Coaches Retreat, we had the opportunity to connect with coaches, as well as Executive Director, Kelly Catale, to learn why they coach youth mountain bike racing. Reflecting on the weekend, we share some of our takeaways from the coaching session, as well as time spent on the trails Highland, a lift service mountain bike park.

We also return to the topic of 32" wheels - this time as seen on bikes from Scott and Trek at Soldier Hollow World Cup – and discuss how gatekeeping activities such as complicating simple things, like how to clean your bike, can prevent new people from taking up cycling.

After 12 years in Sherborn, we’ve made the decision to shift gears and move the Shop to Medfield.

This was not an easy decision as we’ve loved being part of the downtown community. But the new location, which is just 5 miles away, will allow Steve to focus on providing his signature service and support to customers without the distractions that come with a traditional retail space.

To prepare for the move, starting Tuesday, October 6, EVERYTHING in stock – parts, components, tires, wheels, accessories, clothing, helmets, bikes, and the hidden gems Steve has collected in the shed, the back storage room and even our basement at home – will be on sale, with Insiders receiving an additional 5% off sale prices.
