1:00 AM Pouring rain An empty 400m loop with no soul in sight The target was 115 laps - execution was 119 @jadeleroy_ had never run a marathon before—but when he reached marathon distance, he didn’t stop. He kept hunting until he crossed into ultra territory for day 46 of our run relay !! No crowd No finish-line celebration No comfortable conditions Just one man circling the darkness, lap after lap, discovering how far he was truly willing to go - his words “ warfare of the mind “ Most people run when the environment agrees with them, some people will never achieve this and some think this is pure insanity… But the real keep moving when the night, the rain and mind is begging them to stop One of the greatest displays of true grit we have witnessed!! THE STFT RUN CHALLENGE HAS BEGUN ✅ This isn’t about running It’s about connection It’s about carrying each other forward Every day, the distance matches the day of the challenge Day 1 = 1 km. Day 2 = 2 km.. Day 3 = 3 km… The only question is: How many days can we keep the chain alive? THE RULES: 🦍 💨 Run today’s distance 🧠 Share one message that could help someone 👊 Nominate ONE person to continue the challenge ⏳ Once you’ve completed your run, you can’t be nominated again for 15 days 📲 Tag or collab with @stft.24 so we can share your run and follow the journey This isn’t about pace This isn’t about fitness It’s about showing up, encouraging others, and proving that one small action can inspire the next STANDARDS BEFORE COMFORT #stft #mentalhealth #standards #running #community by @stft.24
STFT - Run Relay challenge This is our 2nd running challenge for the team Our first was the goggins challenge which we ran 7Ks every 4 hours for 48 hours for a total of 84Ks with a 6kg weigh vest for 12 carry’s - We decided to carry the vest in honour of men past and present that may be carrying a bit of extra weight, stress, mental health or any life battles at that current time!! The run relay which is our 2nd challenge that is current and on 17 consecutive days with a total of 153Ks ran so far. Our mission with this is similar to the first how can we help inspire someone to make positive change, who can we carry the weight for, how can we help men create better daily habits, how can our message impact the youth and other communities positively and most of all show casing what it’s like to turn up on the hard days not just the good ones !! How far or how many days can we keep this alive ?? Do us a huge favour if you feel like this post & page could help impact a loved one, brother, son, nephew and or anyone…. mMaybe you don’t want to do a run so the next best thing to show support is - - Send them this post - Tag them in this post - Reshare this post Culture and communities are built by many, remember that one day it could be the person closest to you that needs this… STANDARDS BEFORE COMFORT #running #challenge #stft #teamwork #community by @stft.24

Why technique matters more than anything !!! Everyone has this big ambitious plan of getting into the wall balls at the end of your race and thinking their just going to thug out 100 unbroken off the bat… Not the case ( May I add 100 unbroken isn’t always the fastest way through the wall balls ) On Sunday I spent some time with our youngest team member @brysonmcdonald_ and helped him with some slight improvements to his wall ball technique. Doesn’t matter on the weight of the wall ball to get the technique right ( you can even practice this with just your body weight and air squats to start ) 1. Place yourself close enough that your wall ball will land on your chin if you don’t catch it 2. Keep your head facing the target or wall mark you are aiming for ( don’t look anyone else until you break or finish 3. MOST IMPORTANT ONE - Breathe remember to breathe through every rep this also we help your heart rate and to control your reps 4. Keeping the a good Candace and flow 5. The goal is to only do 100 period - Make sure your squat is at the depth and the ball hits the target ( no reps = more time ) you can put a beach / wall ball / a soft box at the correct height to help you gauge this 6. Mindset - It’s going to suck and it’s going to be more like war balls but this is one thing that drives this station as much as the technically side Save the video send us a DM if your looking at getting some more free insight on wall balls STANDARDS BEFORE COMFORT #mindset #hyrox #coach #fitnessmotivation #learning by @stft.24
