Hey you punks! It's been 7 months of living, breathing, dominating, and exploring NYC—from The Bronx to The Rockaways, Jersey to Queens, parks, windows, oceans, studios...endless adventures ahead. 🗽

PHOTO: This is your face after a 14-minute biking mission across Manhattan, ending up in Times Square—the epitome of late capitalism. I see the void, the collapse, the neuroticism, the triggers, but also BEAUTY. It's everywhere, all the time, in everyone. 🌜

WARNING: This journey is as random as stickers, as unpredictable as it gets. 👾

🌿 At Jamhouse Camp, singing is at the heart of our culture, woven into the rhythm of daily life.

As we co-create and tend a village for 4 days, we return to music as a way of life ~
'cause,
music is for EVERYONE ♡

We remember singing and dancing as some of humanity's oldest technologies for connection, healing, belonging and becoming.
We remember ourselves as nature and as inherently creative beings 🌱

We sing to connect within, to connect with the land, with each other, with our ancestors...
We sing our prayers and blessings.
We sing our sadness, our joy, our hopes, our fears, our grief.
We sing to celebrate, to play, and to remember the simple joy of being alive.
We sing to bring more presence, care and love into our hearts and into this world.

Through vocal improvisation, deep listening practices, simple, heartfelt songs in various languages, and playful musical invitations, these Song Weavers invite us to awaken our innate musicality and reconnect with the wisdom and beauty of our natural voices.

This will happen during~

🌿 our daily Morning Circles: we start the day together around the fire, connecting to the body, the land, the voice, the collective
(10 AM - 11 AM)

🌿 before our community dinners on Saturday & Sunday
(5 PM - 6 PM)

🌿 and in spontaneous moments throughout camp.

🌊 Bogotá y los océanos

El 8 de junio se celebra el Día Mundial de los Océanos. De cara a esta conmemoración, desde la Biblioteca Nacional queremos proponer una jornada de talleres que, a través de distintas técnicas artísticas y prácticas, nos permita reflexionar y acercarnos, desde las frías montañas de Bogotá, a este ecosistema que puede parecernos lejano, pero es fundamental para nuestra vida en la Tierra.

Visita la biblioteca el sábado 6 de junio y participa en las actividades que hemos preparado para conversar alrededor de nuestro vínculo vital con los océanos y de cómo, desde esta ciudad en las montañas, podemos aportar a su cuidado.

Hoy: gratitud y sensacion de logro en comunidad.

Cierre 🛝 epico de un proceso de diseño divino y arduo (como siempre) con 36 estudiantes maravillosos que se convirtieron en Stickerologists un semestre para convertirse en activistas y educadores y artistas en el espacio publico.

⭐️Desde sancochos constitucionales hasta tejidos de amor, desde golosas geopoliticas hasta agüeros artesanales, desde espejos gigantes hasta perros en adopcion....☂️generamos metaforas inspiradas en el archivo original de Stickerologist de mas de 40 paises... y salieron a las calles con nuevas formas de activar a la ciudadania via el STICKER.

🔥Navegando el barco con lxs profesorxs @andrealuqueg y @kevinfonseca.col y la super monitora @bellafandino y gracias a La Escuela de Arquitectura y Diseño de La Universidad de los Andes...⚡️ @arqdis @uniandes, armamos un curso lleno de color y creatividad y proposito.

Nos acompañó Andrés Restrepo experto de 🌔Convivencia en ciudad y parte de la Alcaldia de Santa Fé...y...les puedo decir este es solo el comienzo de muchas cosas lindas para la ciudad.✈️

🌊Nada mas rico que hacer cosas desde la academia que salgan 🪽 a incidir y abrir perspectivas en las calles.

Observar stickers implica navegar todo tipo de cuerpos femeninos, sus desde sus tributos bien intencionados hasta sus objetivizaciones sexuales mas nefastas. Es una área confusa, difícil, preciosa, gráfica, retadora y profunda de mi práctica documental.

Cazando stickers en un parte semi-pesada del centro de Los Angeles. Las joyas están en cualquier lado. No hay reglas de dónde puede estar el sticker más precioso, más constructivo, más creativo o más conectado.

Es gran parte de lo que este camino me da: apreciación y detalle en cualquier lugar.

ENG: Sticker hunting in a semi-heavy partiendo Downtown LA. The jewels can be anywhere. There are no rules on where the most precious, constructive, creative or connected sticker might be.

It’s a big part of what this gives me. Full appreciation and detail anywhere I am.
