Registration is officially LIVE for the 6th Annual Faith & OCD Conference!!! 🎉

Presented by @stickwiththeick in partnership with the @iocdf

📅 October 29, 2026

💻 Fully virtual + recordings available for 30 days

I am SO excited to share what we’ve put together this year with 70 inspiring speakers, with the full schedule live on our conference site.

The Faith & OCD Conference brings together clinicians, faith leaders, people with lived experience, family members, caregivers, researchers, students, and advocates to learn from one another at the intersection of faith, OCD, and scrupulosity.

For many people experiencing religious or moral OCD, a faith leader may be one of the first people they turn to for support. At the same time, navigating OCD treatment alongside deeply held faith, spiritual practices, and values can feel complicated. That’s why this conference exists.

Throughout the day, we’ll explore OCD, scrupulosity, spirituality, treatment, and recovery through an inclusive, interfaith lens. We’ll hear from incredible clinicians, faith leaders, researchers, and people with lived experience through presentations, panels, conversations, and community spaces.

Whether you are:
✨ A mental health professional wanting to better understand faith, spirituality, OCD treatment, and scrupulosity
✨ A faith leader wanting practical tools for supporting people with OCD in your community
✨ Someone living with OCD or scrupulosity looking for hope, resources, and people who get it
✨ A family member, caregiver, or loved one wanting to better understand OCD and how to support someone you care about
You belong here. 💗

Our hope is that no one feels like they have to choose between their faith, their mental health, and their recovery.

Come learn with us. Come ask questions. Come connect across traditions and disciplines. And come help us continue building a better bridge between faith communities and evidence-based OCD care.

Registration is open now at faithandocd.com/conference

Wow!!! I am so incredibly excited to share some BIG news! I officially signed my first book deal, with an expected release in Fall 2027! 🎉

I’m beyond honored to be working with @sheldon.press (part of @hachetteuk and @johnmurrays) and the amazing @rachel.sheldonpress as I begin writing my very first book on faith, OCD, and religious/moral scrupulosity through an interfaith lens. It's called: "The Endless What Ifs: When OCD Hijacks Faith & Morality" ⭐

This project feels like the culmination of so many parts of my life coming together... my own lived experience with OCD, my work as a minister and chaplain, my research on OCD treatment as a spiritual practice, and my passion for helping others find hope and meaning in the midst of uncertainty. The book will include stories from diverse faith traditions, evidence-based treatment tools (and ways to reimagine these as spiritual practices across faith traditions), and reflections for individuals with OCD, clinicians, and clergy seeking to navigate faith and mental health in a compassionate, inclusive way. 🫂

It’s surreal to even write these words. I’ve dreamed of creating something like this for years, and it feels so special to finally share it with all of you. Thank you for being part of this community that has made this work possible. I cannot wait to bring you along for every step ahead, and I'm so honored to Stick with the Ick as we journey together! 💗 by @stickwiththeick

OCD Awareness Week 🧠💚

OCD has told each of us a LOT of things.

That we can’t trust ourselves.
That we need certainty.
That we need to avoid certain things.
That we have to listen to the thoughts, feelings, and “what ifs.”

But in this video, we’re showing you what happens when we don’t listen to OCD.

We choose to live anyway.
We choose connection, relationships, careers, adventures, laughter, and all the messy, beautiful parts of life.

OCD may be part of our story—but it doesn’t get to write the whole thing. ❤️

This OCD Awareness Week, we want you to know that a life with OCD can still be a BIG life. Recovery doesn’t necessarily mean OCD disappears forever. It means OCD doesn’t get to make all the decisions.

To everyone currently struggling: there is more to your life than OCD. And there is a life worth fighting for beyond the fear.

Now we want to hear from YOU: What has OCD told you that you’re choosing NOT to listen to? 👇🏼

Thank you to all the amazing advocates who shared a bit of there OCD for this post! Go follow them!
