Introducing Stigner Studio. Taking inspiration from the legacy designs of my family’s businesses in the 80s and 90s, and giving my own company a fresh look for the next chapter. Art. Design. Culture. #graphicdesign #logo #art #design #legacybrand by @stigner_studio
I’ve not posted much art lately. But that doesn’t mean I’m not making it. I’m just relishing the freedom to create away from prying eyes for the first time ever. Opinions matter. But that conversation can only happen after I feel like I’ve made something that’s from the middle of my heart. Enjoy this Brusho I just boshed out. You’re not seeing the other stuff 🤫 🫣 #art #brusho #artist #leicesterartist #majorlove by @stigner_studio
I was 5 when I first watched Thriller on VHS… at Halloween. Me and some girls from school all with sofa cushions on our laps to hide behind if it got too much. But it didn’t. The behind the scenes Making of Thriller took the fear away and showed me the art. And again with Ghosts in 1996. The dance routines by MJ, LaVelle Smith Jr. and Travis Payne went way past comfort zones and it was captivating. I’ve never loved Horror as a genre but these two shorts are works of art to me. #michaeljackson #thrillerween #thriller #ghosts halloween Film clips from: @michaeljackson by @stigner_studio

It’s flu season. I’m off for my jab. Get vaccinated. I ain’t got time to be ill… or sort my nails out 🤭 #vaccine #vaccinated #fluvaccine by @stigner_studio
How incredibly lucky am I to be Gujarati? To be brought up in a culture that means I can dress up like this with hundreds of others just like me. Brought up in a religion that celebrates powerful goddesses for nine nights every single year for thousands of years. I haven’t always felt lucky. It’s been a complicated navigation, growing up both Indian and English. But now I see that it’s all mine. What was once a code switch to fit in, is now a code switch to greedily celebrate all the good stuff each culture brings. Navratri, Sharad Poonam, Halloween, Diwali, Christmas, New Year… I hop scotch between each one at this time of year and I love it ✨ #navratri #gujarati #navratrioutfit #indian #bothnothalf by @stigner_studio

Last night crackled with magic. The opening night of an historic tour. Mum giggling with excitement like she’s 19 again, me losing my mind when I realised that was Greg Phillinganes (musical director to Stevie and Michael Jackson for 30 years) on the keys, Stevie dueting with his son Mandla, and his daughter Aisha (the Isn’t She Lovely baby) singing backing vocals. The whole musical family on stage for the encore! And every single song from Songs in the Key of Life, one of the greatest albums ever made, the tracks have been sampled well over 100 times in its 50 year existence. This is what being in the room with greatness feels like. Celebration, love, and warmth. We live inside of art, all you have to do is buy the best ticket you can afford and sing along. #steviewonder #songsinthekeyoflife #liveconcert #musicalhistory #birminghamuk @utilitaarenabirmingham @steviewonderlegacy @greg_phillinganes_live by @stigner_studio
For years I’ve been told the blueprint to success is to find a niche and stick to it. I refused. Stigner Studio is the niche. Art. Design. Culture. #design #graphicdesign #branding #polaroidpicture #studioscenes by @stigner_studio
Saturn facts: 746 million miles from Earth depending on orbit 6th planet from the Sun 2nd largest planet in our Solar System It took the light from Saturn 67 minutes to reach Earth so I saw back in time. My facts: zoom lenses are fiddly to film through, it’s SO MUCH CLEARER in real life and my feet froze. Autumn’s here. #saturn #telescope #skywatcher #astronomy by @stigner_studio
Last night I dreamt I lived in a place full of diamonds glowing and glistening and glittering all around, softly crunching under my feet like small gravel on a beach lapped by moon water and phosphorescent glow. This is what happens when I put my eye to the telescope piece and find the actual moon vivid and bright and Saturn twirling tantalisingly right… there! P. S. It rains diamonds on Saturn, and its rings are what’s left of two moons colliding. I love this universe. #moonphotography #saturn #telescopephotography #astrophotography #fullmoon by @stigner_studio
Got the telescope out after a while and the view through the lens did not disappoint! I’m learning as I go to navigate both the telescope and the lunar surface. Completely winging it, and mostly in awe. One fact check: a harvest moon is closest to the autumn equinox, not the Earth. That would be a super moon, which this was not. #fullmoon #ariesfullmoon #harvestmoon #telescopephotography #stargazer by @stigner_studio
