They're It.
Marguerite Johnson and Anna Still of @still.johnson met while working for designer @betsybrowninc and soon realized their strengths and styles were simpatico. “We love creating spaces that are based in tradition but feel fresh and unexpected through bold patterns, interesting art, and rich color," say the pair. The most helpful advice they’ve received along the way? “Keep furnishings symmetrical and styling asymmetrical,” says Johnson. “What comes easy won’t last long, and what lasts long won’t come easy,” adds Still.

We love following roads less traveled to discover handmade objects and the people behind them. Since opening our shop, those connections have grown into exclusive collaborations. Each piece brings a story to our shop and projects, sitting beautifully alongside our vintage and antique finds. Here are a few favorites.

Small tabletop kinetic mobiles handmade by artist Max Simon. Beautifully balanced, they shift with the movement of air. We collaborate with Max on each style.

Pearl River Glass plates, bowls and platters handmade in Mississippi each piece has subtle variations in color, shape and texture. We design the plates and platters and they bring them to life using their amazing range of glass colors. The dinnerware is meant to be mixed and matched!

Civil Stoneware x Still Johnson vessels and lamps are a collaboration between Civil Stoneware and Still Johnson, this collection includes hand-thrown vessels and lamps with simple forms and earthy, slightly imperfect finishes. We design the vessels to look just as beautiful empty as they do filled with flowers so they are easy pieces to live with and style.

Celebrating 20 years of @antiquesgardensbham!! Year after year, so many talented people come together to make AATG happen all in support of our amazing @bbgardens!

It is always so special to see so many different teams working together to bring a vision to life and learning from each other along the way!

Such a fun year planning with the best co-chairs, @ard.jennifer, @jeremydclark, @stephanielyntonhome, and @rachaelb_rummel. I will always be in awe of the talent of this team!!🤍

Thank you to our amazing gala co-chairs @paigejacoby and @cat_smitty, and to @ls.bledsoe for producing everything we dreamed up!! @penneyphartline has worked her magic for over 10 years bringing incredible teams together and truly making AATG what it is today!!!

Thank you to @zacharyjwestall and @zjwstudios for creating the most wonderful garden entry! @valgerdurnobleinteriors and @ellie_christopher for working so hard to make sure our antique dealers are so wonderful and well taken care of all weekend. Truly the heart of the show! And of course the amazing speakers that fly in from all over and share their immense knowledge!!

@graciestudio thank you for your beyond generous donation, your trust in our team, your kindness and your support of our Gardens. We cannot thank you enough. We truly loved working with you and we are so grateful for everything!!

And thank you to all the teams who worked for weeks to construct the backdrop for such a wonderful event @titan_installations, @mcguire_construction, @sissybaustin, @trestleconstruction, Mike White Lighting, @decor2adore, @cain_awning, and @pentoir_construction.
