All the things I didn’t know I needed until I saw them. My recent trip to Birmingham, Alabama was like entering Ali Baba’s cave. There were so many treasures at the @antiquesgardensbham antique show and @still.johnson Great thanks are due to @steelemarcoux and @verandamag for organizing a wonderful Design Summit. It was not to be missed.

Twenty years of @antiquesgardensbham — and a beautiful evening celebrating the tradition that continues to give back to the @bbgardens. ✨

This year’s Gala brought together friends, supporters, designers, and dealers to kick off a milestone weekend, all in support of the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Funds raised through Antiques at the Gardens help support the ongoing care, education, and programs that keep the Gardens thriving for our community.

Congratulations to the sponsors, chairs, committee members, and countless volunteers who made this milestone weekend possible—and cheers to 20 years of an incredible Birmingham tradition. 🌿

A year of planning, four days of celebration, and twenty years of @antiquesgardensbham. An anniversary with much to celebrate—and many people to thank.

A privilege to work alongside my fellow co-chairs, @still.johnson, @rachaelb_rummel, @ard.jennifer, and @stephanielyntonhome, and Gala co-chairs, @cat_smitty and @paigejacoby. Their talent and dedication shaped the weekend, with many laughs along the way.

An enormous thank-you to the mayor of #AATG, @penneyphartline, and to @lbledsoe for her unwavering dedication. To our honorees, @richard_keith_langham, @margotrshaw, and @bartmccorquodale, with special gratitude to Keith for his continued role as show ambassador.

The stage was set - this was where all of the talks took place this week @antiquesgardensbham and it could not have been prettier.

Bunny Williams gave the loveliest compliment to all who were involved in making this area beautiful this morning when she said “I would be happy if this was my own living room“

Our handpainted landscape mural made its debut here, and we don’t even have a name for it yet! Please give me your thoughts for a great title for it in your comments.

It is a soft sepia design inspired by a tiny charcoal drawing I saw at auction years ago – I expanded on the scene with views I love - staircases, statues, fountains and hilltop villages I’ve taken photographs of in Italy.

Thank you so much @annieschlechter for these gorgeous photos, and for the Antiques at the Gardens 2026 Chairs. You were all a dream to work with, and I’m happy to know you all:
