Holding space for people has always been my way of stepping into the vibrational energy of the mother and sacred feminine, a way of expressing, honouring and healing my lineage.

Offering nurture, love and connection as a palpable and unifying experience is what drives the essence of Still Wyld.

From planting the seed to creating the reality.
Turning pain into power and power into loving action.

On Saturday we held a spoken word event to raise money for MAP ( Medical Aid for Palestinians).

I'm still feeling elevated from everyone's love, support, words, poetry, solidarity, unity, kindness and generosity.

It was a deeply unifying and moving night.

Over 80 people were called to gather, to share, bare witness and join in support of the Palestinian people.

We opened our space with a sacred circle to honour those whose lives have been taken, those that have been displaced and those still facing unbearable suffering.

The room was full of love, kindness and humility.

Thankyou to Sam & Antonia @k0wsel for your conscious approach with all that unfolded, it was an honour to co create with you 💗

Thankyou to @cornwall_hannah for being there, sharing your story and bringing the wonderful handmade Palestinian purses by Maryam 💗

Thankyou to all the wonderful poets. Your voices are needed right now! 💗

Thankyou to all that were present and to everyone that generously donated! 💗

Thankyou Roo, for your support, before, during, after, and for creating and playing the music for the opening and closing of our circle. You held that space beautifully 💗

And last but by no means least, my Ochti Habibti, my darling sister Haneen.
For sharing your story, for sharing your spoken words via video from Gaza with everyone in that room.
You are a light in my life and you deserve peace, you deserve liberation and you deserve freedom from oppression.

Courage represents in many ways.

When we hold the intention to move with compassion and steadiness, it can show up as a unifying expression of embodied empowerment.

Especially in the midst of a storm.

Being courageous doesn't always rise from fire, sometines its stillness when chaos calls.

Often, its checking in with yourself and your own intentions.

Stepping away with clarity, when something only serves to disrupt without awareness or depth of understanding.

Sometimes it's saying I love you.
Other times it's speaking your truth.

On occasions its having the courage to say, I trust my intuition.
I understand how its served me, my journey is mine to travel and although ego can force some timely challenges, the lessons always turn to gold.

We're complex beings holding a multitude of experiences, losses, traumas and peak moments of joy and despair.
To understand another human requires approaching with our hearts, compassionate presence, authentic, respectful and steady dialogue in the moments that arise.

Sometimes it happens when you drop a plate on your toe.

Moving through layers of projected or perceived identity and attachment, is also a courageous act, when as humans we are compelled to freeze others (and in turn ourselves) in time.

But we're not linear, stagnant beings.
We continuously move through layers, sometimes daily, until we're gifted moments of egoless human presence showing us the depth that exists in humanity as a representation of the divine.

Courage is always remembering that you have a voice, and you can use it.

Courage is choosing to face humbling truths when ego cries insolence.

Its knowing when to push forward and when to lay down our sword.
Its understanding we can choose what we stand for and we're free to speak when the need arrives .

Courage is sometimes taking another step when your legs fail you.

Sometimes it's remembering who you are and what exactly you came here to do.

The beauty in ritual as an offering, can sometimes be expressed in the simplicity of a few moments of loving intentional action.
What are we doing to send out deeply unifying energy in our day to day?

Come and join @kowsel & @stillwyld on Saturday 19th for an inspirational evening of spoken word poetry, connection and solidarity.

Palestine will take centre stage as we aim to elevate Palestinian voices, through stories, poetry, handmade creations from a womens cooperate in Palestine and a video poem performed by a special guest from Gaza.

Alongside this we have new performers and some regulars to Kowsel, performing with "Resistance" as our poetry theme 🤍

All performance spots are now sold out but we still have space for you to come along and show your support and enjoy the evening 🤍

Through a guided meditative practice and the support of Mother Cacao you will enter into a deep state of being through medicine music, deep breathing and ancient remembering.

Strength, liberation, release, softening and an opening of the heart.

This journey can also be offered for couples and groups 🪶

The Peruvian Cacao I use is Ceremonial grade, organic, ethical and always reveals the heart of the indigenous roots it was born from.

Cacao is a heart opening plant medicine that was (and continues to be) sacred before it was made sweet.
