A few more nuggets from a memorable trip to Haines making lemonade🤘 landing heli’s, catching crabs, northern lights, belly aching from laughter from a hilarious crew and the cutter were the real highlights - if you’re patient you’ll catch a pretty mean fall through zipper crust that I ended the trip on lol 🕵️‍♀️

Second annual northern migration to @alaskaheliskiing - heck of a time with some awesome people! Had a ton of fun, but waiting through the weather days and dealing with touchy and variable snowpack made us realize how lucky we were last year for the stars to align the way they did. Got out for our annual sled day together with the working boys! They put me through AK training camp - thanks for keeping the tradition alive fellaz 🤙 day 2 on the sled hoping I shook the rust off 😅 📸 @conmanxtreme @jslaappp @basebuildben by @stirling_bell

Throwback to taking a very alternative route over the top last season - As I dropped, i got psyched out by the looks of plan A and had a plan B in my head up and over, then down, but didn’t like the looks of plan b either so I just kept traversing it out. Will need to go back and ride it properly next time, but fun little meander on one of the more aesthetic and committing faces I’ve had on my list. Our first few glimpses of Gravy Train (and really all Essex and I had to work with at the top to decide where to ride - that’s probably the craziest realization from my first day Heli skiing is the speed and lack of time to pick our lines), the drone shot of my line, a crab feast, and a few moments of coming down from the high of scoring on our first heli day.

Where’d the name come from? Essex and @garrett.knochenmus were two of the first skiers/ snowboarders I met when I came to Canada for school - if I hadn’t met those two, the last 14+ years of snowboarding would have likely looked very different. I honestly probably wouldn’t be riding lines like this if those two beauties hadn’t taken me under their wings.

The night before our first day flying in AK, we met @instagarry - who is good buddies with Garret Knochenmus aka Gravy, in Nelson. He was flying with another group at @alaskaheliskiing and we all FaceTimed with gravy that morning to say what’s up! During the day, instagary was calling our crew, the “gravy crew” on the radio, and we had the pleasure of watching instagary aka Worm absolutely lace a beauty line with a huge back 3 right before we dropped in on Gravy Train - it felt like a natural name with Garrett on our minds.
