A little re-introduction for you! ✨ I feel so lucky to say this is my job and I want to say a massive thank you for all your support! by @stitchedbyalan
I’m so honoured and proud to announce that I’m the England’s @kingstrust & @tkmaxxuk - @natwest enterprise award winner 2026! I even got a chance to give @max_balegde his own hoop of his dog Eevee! Thank you everyone who has supported me with creating this business and allowing me to shine! I love you all! It was so nice to share this achievement with my best friends @anjalidevi_ and @ceebsfeebs over this wonderful weekend. Thank you for being my biggest fans in the world. Thank you Lizzie for nominating me for this award, it was an honour to be nominated from so many amazing businesses supported by the trust, yet alone win!! by @stitchedbyalan
So here is the big news… I can finally say that I’m on the second season of ‘Make it at Market’ which is airing on BBC One on the 27th November! Hosted by the lovely @dominicchinea ✨ It’s been a crazy, amazing experience - I can’t wait for you all to see it! I feel so lucky to have been chosen for this opportunity and can’t believe it’s finally here! I’ve met some amazing people from the show and I can’t wait for you to see how amazingly talented they are!! I also had a fantastic mentor, who I honestly owe so much to! I’m so excited to share them with you, but more on that soon! I’ll be able to share the exact date that my episode airs soon. Though, as I’ve been piping on about, this is going to heavily affect Christmas orders. I have a plan of how I’m going to tackle the orders and a possible cut off date, but if it becomes clear that orders are becoming overwhelming I will be closing early to account for this. So please ensure you order soon if you want guaranteed Christmas arrival, because come November 27th, it’s not looking likely. 😅 ‘Make It at Market will return to BBC One on Monday 27 November for a brand new series, filmed in the stunning Waterperry Gardens in Oxfordshire. It will see the return of Dom Chinea and his team of business and craft experts as they bring real change to the lives of budding entrepreneurs who hope to make a living from their crafting hobby.’ - BBC Media Centre Thank you again for the support throughout the year, I wouldn’t have these great opportunities without your ongoing love and support- So thank you so much. I can’t wait to hear your feedback on the show and here’s to all the exciting things to come for Stitched By Alan… we’re only just getting started. @makeitatmarket #makeitatmarket #embroidery #maker #freehandembroidery #tvshow #artist #maker #announcement #textiles #craft #meethemaker by @stitchedbyalan
If you don’t have a photo of your pets together, don’t worry at all! ✨ To be honest, I mainly work from separate photos to create double to triple pet portraits. So send a few photos of each pet and I can work my magic!! 💚 All freehand embroidered by me, this was over a days work! 🤍 by @stitchedbyalan
A nice little mix of a few bits… ✨ A few festive numbers mixed with some cute garments, patches and even a keyring! Can’t believe it’s November tomorrow, it’s going to get very busy here! 💚 by @stitchedbyalan
Black dogs, black cats, I can happily embroider them all! 🖤 There are so many colours in those darker pets and I love freehand embroidering them!! No one is left out here!! ✨ All freemotion embroidered on a normal sewing machine with my hands in my little studio! This is 2 days of work all sped up! 💚 by @stitchedbyalan
I love embroidering and making cushions so much! 💚✨ I don’t know if it’s the size of the embroidery or having it as a functional product, but I just love how they turn out! Also the brown fur on this dog just pops in the green fabric, so so so happy with how this turned out! More cushions please!! 🙏🏼 by @stitchedbyalan
The black contrasting onto this purple background is so nice!!! 💜 When a really nice photo comes through, I get so excited! This was such a challenging one to freehand embroider, with all the blacks but I’m so happy with the outcome! ✨ All sewn by me on a normal sewing machine! 🧵 by @stitchedbyalan
Been working away on Christmas decorations! (It’s never too early!)✨ These are a favourite one of mine to sew!! Still plenty of time to go before the big day but if you order now, it’ll be ready just in time for putting up the tree 🌲 👀 by @stitchedbyalan
This was such a nice one to sew! 〰️✨ It doesn’t have to be just houses I can transform into line embroideries! Always happy to be given a challenge and this lovely photo of the Scottish Highlands was a treat for me! 🧵 by @stitchedbyalan
All set up for my first market in Scotland! Thanks for having me in Edinburgh @thecraftandflea ✨ Please ignore how creased everything is!! 😢 Forgot about that detail when doing my suitcase set up! 🚂 Come pop along to the Assembly Rooms and see some fab artists and makers!! by @stitchedbyalan
Watch me freehand embroider this dog! 🐾🧵 All on a normal sewing machine with a freehand foot, allowing me to create fur like texture with lots of thread! ✨ This is a 6 inch embroidery hoop! by @stitchedbyalan
