Last day of rowing / first day of rowing
I just finished 5 weeks learning sweep rowing! What a fun and chill reason to get up at 5 am twice a week. I'm gonna start an intro sculling class in a few weeks. 🌊 by @stitchedinsound

May into June: new reads on the porch; the Seekonk River at 5:50 am; Philly Phanatic; @bigmouthbaz is my Bartman; Robin Wall Kimmerer told me she wants to read Goose News, Moss News; I like angles; Kim's memorial (her journal, mural of her favorite bird, mural of Kim, one of her sweet pups, journal entry from the month we met); horseshoe crab lamp at PTX Lounge; mystery musician on the Woonasquatucket near my office and the mall. I'm carrying lots of grief but raised up by lots of love and creative inspiration. by @stitchedinsound

I turned 45! I went to MassMoCA! I dressed up to wander the museum on a rainy Wednesday because why not! I tried weaving for the first time! Also, I have some new dog friends (not mine). I'm grateful for books and art and love and friends and being alive! by @stitchedinsound

Hi friends, I'm here asking for support for my best friend of two decades, Michelle, and her husband. Ben was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer a few weeks ago. You can read more in the GoFundMe post, but needless to say it's really fucking bad news. They both work demanding, physical jobs in the film industry and have to step away from that right now. If you feel you're able to help out with a few bucks for these wonderful folks (and share the post either way), I'll be eternally grateful. by @stitchedinsound

Yesterday, I learned to cross country ski with my hike bestie, @jackiegoldmanri and guess what? They've just launched their campaign for Providence City Council (Ward 5, Elmhurst). Jackie is one of my dearest friends in RI, and I'm hoping some of y'all will donate a few dollars to their campaign. Jackie's day job is in harm reduction, and they're one of the most active community members I know and a strong community organizer, focused on housing, homelessness, and civil rights. If you have a general idea of my politics, you'll understand why I strongly support Jackie's campaign.
