Sitting at home in this *in between* week and had this lovely little pile waiting for a freshen up, so I wanted to share my favorite tool for keeping special pieces looking their best-this little miracle shaver. I have tried stones and combs and the ubiquitous evercare, but this Wonderlint from @houseofwonderful does it best!

Plug in or battery, it works when you need (but I did have to swap out for a better cord immediately , kind of a bummer at the price point) and won’t chew up your fabric. Nobody needs more mending, ammirite? Have you tried shaving your faves yet?

Yarns are @madelinetosh ASAP in voodoo and (discontinued) Pashmina in… a color I’ve forgotten!

Wearable toile I am OBSESSED with in a linen… cheesecloth? P sure it was meant to be sheer curtains but I scored it from the Swap Meet and this toile is perfect. I have two more planned! s/o to @siri_kate for the pose inspo and @tarleton_tarlatan for putting this pattern on my radar.

Sz 10 #v9331 (aka #libertytheablouse-I’m not sure if the directions are better or not in the liberty branded version! These didn’t suck but can we talk about that pattern cover?! Swipe right to be 🤯🤯 Next time I’ll add .75 to the waist just in case I ever want to wear it untucked. I did shorten by 1.5in or so too at the bottom hem. Honestly, I love this top and you will be seeing so much of it in my feed for the next forever.

Snuck in a lil something finally on the last day of BRAgust 🌸💜

I bought this Huit deadstock kit from @stephieslingerie earlier this year and then promptly put it in my (hideously organized) bin of impulse-bought lingerie kits. I don’t find the techniques tooooo challenging in the actual construction, but getting a fit I like when I’m my own worst enemy? That’s been a big block to keeping that top drawer fresh.

I tried a new bra pattern (the Lantry) by La Vie de Lingerie and she was SUPER kind and knowledgeable in helping me choose the appropriate size. I didn’t read the fine print through (ok lack of fine print actually!) and was super surprised to learn the single size pattern has no instructions, not even a suggested OOP! It does fit really beautifully and the drafting is absolutely top notch, but $20 for a single size and no instructions feels p steep.

Panty is the #luinapanty from Stephie and I looooove. New basic for my rigid lace bits for SURE.

I’ve definitely been reminded anew this year that she who dies with the most stash doesn’t actually win, so I’m committing to working through my wee hoard (last slide!) with a lil more laissez-faire. I need to get organized! Have any bra-makers with tips I should see? by @stitchedslowly

Wrapping up Me Made May 2026 with a big ol full circle moment 🌀🌀🌀🌀

@fringefabrics_sd had a sweet contest this month connecting local makers+sewing businesses and the prompt for this week was something patchwork and quilted via @rosiescalicocupboard.
