Taking over St John the Evangelist Church in Finsbury Park, Blackstock Sessions brings you a (BYOB) musical charity fundraiser to raise money for St John’s Soup Kitchen and Food bank @stjohnskitchen . Guÿa, Molly Chadwick and REYA, 3 incredible up and coming independent artists, will join the lineup to showcase soulful, experimental sounds, providing the perfect serenade for your Saturday afternoon. Join us for a chance to connect with your community, discover some incredible local talent and raise money for a good cause! Don’t miss out on the soulful beats and the electric atmosphere – it’s where the heart and soul of St John’s comes alive!

Huge thanks to Hackney Libraries Services who visited us recently. Jana and Lydia provided guests with lots of information on joining local libraries and what services are available there. Libraries have everything from chess and movie clubs to tea and coffee social groups. If you need somewhere to sit, use a computer or the internet, and of course if you want to chat to a staff member about borrowing books, pop into your local library! We so appreciate their visit, and are excited to welcome them back again soon! by @stjohnskitchen

BEYOND ST JOHN’S: our newest offering at St John’s Soup Kitchen is our guest support spots each Sunday. A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting someone from Alcoholics Anonymous. AA do amazing work in supporting communities and destigmatizing conversations around alcoholism. Thank you for volunteering your time and services! by @stjohnskitchen

You’ll see more friendly people like Adam joining us on Sundays to offer our guests additional support.
