Meet the 2026/27 Committee - Part 5

Meet the coaches! The Club has been incredibly lucky to have Coach Soheil @coachsoheil as club coach for the past year, and we're thrilled to have him with us for another season. Whether bringing beginners into the club, or helping the rest of us hone our skills, he's had a massive positive impact at St. Margaret's. With his new autumn and winter masterclass series kicking off soon, we hope to be firing on all cylinders in Season 2026/27!

And welcome Dave! Dave has joined the coaching team both to support Soheil and to bring his own expertise to the mixed teams, who he'll be mentoring in the opening months of the season. He has everything to prove and everything to lose, so let's see those results! 😉

Meet the 2026/27 Committee - Part 4

Meet the Mixed captains! It's all newbies here! Our Surrey Mixed team has climbed another divison, so there is a renewed challenge for Chantelle & Sammy! In the Sutton & District League, Sara is heading up the first team - her first captaincy; Phil & Izzy, old reliables, are taking on the seconds, and Kirstie, who has captained a Ladies' team before, is now having to try to get men organised 🙄 for Hybrid!

Meet the 2026/27 Committee - Part 3

Meet the Men's captains! We have two Surrey Men's Sixes teams, captained by Lewis and Aidan, and five Sutton & District Men's teams: Pagey is captaining the top team, while Will K. & Ryan M. are co-captaining the second; Kyle is reprising his role captaining the thirds, and Jake B. is debuting as captain of the fourths; Nigel, voted best captain last season, is pioneering a new Men's Fours team.

The teams have 64 matches between them, so it'll be a long season, and no doubt separate the men from the boys! by @stmaggs

Meet the 2026/27 Committee - Part 2

Meet our Ladies' captains! For Siobhan and Andrea, this is their first captaincy, but for Amrita this is all very familiar! We have a record number of ladies this season - our youngest lady is 15 and our oldest is 79! It's the first time in our 107 year history that we've fielded three ladies' teams, and they'll be fighting it out in the Surrey County and Sutton & District local leagues. by @stmaggs

Meet our Executive Committee! They've more than 50 years experience at St. Margaret's B.C. between them, and their commitment, knowledge and dependability is beyond doubt.

They've captained teams, organised tournaments, planned socials, and taken on roles and responsibilities that have made the Club what it is. They know what St. Maggs has been and carry forward that spirit and ethos into each new season.
