⏰ T-minus 10 days until NAMS Alumni & Student Speed Networking Event!

Thinking about signing up for Alumni & Student Speed Networking but feeling a little nervous? Totally fair, but it’s way more chill than it sounds. No awkward elevator pitch required, no need to have your whole career figured out, and no pressure to be perfect. Just show up, be yourself, and have a few real conversations.

Don’t just take our word for it. Hear what one student has to say about their experience at last year’s event.

💬 “Going to the NAMS networking events showed me the avenues that I didn’t even know were available to us; jobs, opportunities, internships, and the ability to ask questions and get honest answers” - Harry Dallmer, Environmental Science major.

Meet Stockton alumni, ask questions, hear about their experiences, and make connections that could help you down the road. Think of it as a low-pressure way to meet people who were once in your shoes.

⚡ Reserve your spot TODAY! Your future self might be glad you signed up. 😉

Registration 🔗 in the bio. Link to alumni names and biographies also in bio.

Hope to see you there!

🌊 Coast Day is a day of hands-on coastal science, discovery and fun! It’s where the students and the community can come explore Stockton’s coastal research, meet experts on fish, wetlands, birds and beaches, and take part in interactive activities designed to inspire the next generation of coastal scientists.

It’s a great day for everyone, but we can’t do it alone. We need your help!

📣We need volunteers to help with several tasks during the event, while the high schools are present.

* School group escort: Accompany a group of attendees to make sure they get to the activities on time.
* Craft room helper: Assist our crafty professional with teaching découpage, and help clean up between sessions.
* Education help: Sit in on the formal classroom portion of the day and help the attendees with the lessons. * General help: Doing whatever needs done at the time. *

Student volunteers will have access to ☕️ 🍩 🥯. The exhibitor hall will be open for undergrads to network with the exhibitors between 12-2 PM — A GREAT opportunity to speak with industry professionals! List of exhibitors below.
