Pilot Spotlight: Cate Page 🏁✈️

STOLDrag racer Cate Page (@stoldrag85) talks us through one of her winning runs at the 2025 High Sierra Fly-In, flying her bright orange Carbon Cub FX-2 “Luna C.”

Built through CubCrafters’ Builder Assist Program in 2022, her FX-2 has logged over 700 flight hours — from racing dry lakebeds to landing deep in Alaska’s backcountry.

“This airplane has spent more time off-airport than on,” Cate laughs. “It’s light, proven, and capable — the obvious choice for serious backcountry flying.”

“A capable airplane is like having insurance — it makes flying easier, safer, and lower risk. My FX-2 is light, strong, and ready for anything.”
